It's gonna be a boring stage that's all you need to know Pfft

Going to take a nap during this stage, I think either Degenkolb, breakaway or Degenkolb, might see some crosswinds though which could spice up this stage

I'm going to say breakaway. The sprinters' teams should be quite tired after 3 weeks. Plus, the finish isn't exactly flat, which could discourage some sprinters.

Giant most probably wants this for Degenkolb. The question is does Sagan want a last chance, and how big will the break be?

a Omega Pharma dude to escape on the hill before the Côte de Monbazillac, Sagan to pursuit, Sagan catches the Omega Pharma dude on the Monbazilliac while Kristoff takes the stage.

Kristoff shared a room with Spilak who was up all night vomiting. He might have picked up a minor bug, so that might be a factor.

Normally this late in the tour, a stage like this will end in a break away win.

But Sagan still doesn't have a win, so i think Canondale will get on the front perhaps together with Katusha or Giant.

It is hard to predict at this point though, cause all the riders are so tired.

Coquard I think if its a sprint.

Purito for last KoM points please, you know... because why not? Wink

I'll still say Kittel. I think those climbs are overrated in the profile.

I will say Kristoff, because.... Norway. And he have been the best sprinter lately.
Sport freak. Mostly interested in Football (Liverpool, Rosenborg with more), increasing interest in cycling.
Also big Formula 1 fan. Ferrari <3

The likes of Sagan, Degenkolb, Kristoff, van Avermaet and Coquard should be more than capable of going past the cat. 4 climb on the end there. I'm inclined to say Kristoff, but I've got this feeling Peter Sagan REALLY wants a stage win - and he isn't gonna get one on Champs Elysees, if you know what I mean. Wink

Most sprint trains starting to dissolve so im not so sure about a mass sprint i also expects some attacks in the last climbs which will drop most sprinters so this is either a breakaway victory or a small group sprint my bet goes for Sagan i doubt Coquard and Kristoff will be there Cool

Kristoff and his coach said yesterday he was scared of the last climb, so i don't think its overrated and said Kittel would have no chance Smile

If we get attacks from riders like Van Avermaet, Sagan or any in form puncheur, a mass sprit finish seems less likely, yes. However, it all depends on who gets away.

I would say a breakaway win if the group has enough riders. It is possible some riders will take it easy to get freshness for the time trial tomorrow. But right that Giant Shimano should have considered this stage for a sprint win.

Navardauskas to launch a solo attack with 4450 m to go and win by 8 or 9 seconds.

Degenkolb or breakaway.

This. Europcar want a stage win, the stage is perfect for him and he looked pretty strong in the Mountains compared to most other sprinters.

alexkr00
Not really the strongest breakaway. I doubt they will make it to the finish.

Slagter has a nose for breakaways, only not the legs Pfft. Maybe today... But I expect a bunch sprint. Europcar is always in BOTD's aswell by the way.
