The Tour de Langkawi has big names winning the GC so far in the history of the Man Game. That said it`s down to Continental Tour in 2014 and so the biggest names obviously won`t be here. But at least we have the last two runner-ups here with Iglinski and Moreno.
The small amount of 15 teams only made it to Malaysia and next to some of the best CT climbers we also have more or less the CT sprinter elite here.
2 mountain and 8 pan flat stages obviously gives the sprinters huge win chances, while the climbers usually decide the GC due to the selection on the hardest stages.
So the GC might already be done after the first half only is raced. The 3rd stage should bring the first bigger selection, while the 5th onto Genting Highlands often is the race decider. Here you mustn`t allow any time gaps to your opponents if you want to win the race.
Too easy are the last 5 stages. Some small bumps but in general as flat as possible and so a possible number of five sprint stages. But let`s come to the team leaders and possible GC riders and top sprinters.
 Iglinski has a lot of PT experience and can loock back on a nice palmares. Being older now he stepped down to the CT Tour. As last years 2nd in the GC he is one of the top favourites.
 Arroyo is another top climber here. Last year he showed great results already and so he stayed with the team and another season on CT level. He can be expected to be one of the strongest here as his climbing skills normally should be best here.
 Rodrigues is the 3rd top favourite. Just like the other two favourites he will get nice support by his team. That said, ONCE probably with the biggest dual focus here as they also have one of the top sprinters in Guillen. The other two teams have sprinters but not the top5 riders for the flat stages.
A bit behind those 3 we have quite a long list of other GC riders eventually being able to jump onto the podium or even a surprising win here? Those are:
 Ochoa Quintero
 Alizadeh
 Moreno
 Txurruka
 Fernandez
 Zurita
 Feillu
 Kiserlovski
 Kern
The sprinter field here is extremely strong. Almost all top CT sprinters are here and so it`s hard to judge about the possible stage favourites. Best chances probably for:
Guillen
 Meyer
Forero
Vingerling
But also good chances to get some results have other sprinters to complete a great field such as:
Manarelli
Awang
Vanderaerden
 Opie
Dall'Antonia
Richeze
Uugunbayar
Sinner
The full startlist has more sprinters to eventually be able to top5-10 here.

Went with Feillu here since there is no TT, hope he can get a top 10 or so.
Also, looks like not too big of a startlist, maybe we can pick up some points here and there in the sprints.

Genting is a classic climb so should be a great honour to see the C2 guys race up it, can make new legend. You have to fancy Iglinski.

Decided not to send Martinez, as that would additionally destroy his only 48 race-days. However, we do have Kiserlovski who might go for a solid Top 10 place and Dall'Antonia who'll hopefully do something on these flat stages.
I definitely don't expect anything "big" from this race, but a stage-win from breakaway would be great.

Hmm was expecting some strong competition in the sprints but not quite that strong perhaps especially considering this is part of the weakest/least filled C2HC band. Nevertheless hopefully the pan-flat stages will make it difficult for a break to stay away and Forero can accomplish, ideally, a stage win.

Manarelli fans out there should keep a close eye on the sprints here. The sprints don't get much more sprinter friendly than they get here, so if he will perform anywhere this season it will be here.
It will be Txurruka's first race aswell, how well can he go? |

Wow, hadn't noticed yet that Langkawi is such a sprinter's festival this year! Those 8 flat stages should make for some comfortable reporting 
Those two climbs in the crucial stages ain't looking too steep, but long enough to make for some good racing. Good luck to all involved!

Mmm, sprints might be a bit disappointing for Nutresa, even with our top man here - had hoped with less teams, might have been more or less guaranteed consistent point-scoring each day, now looks unlikely! Lot of big-hitters for the mountains too, and with only 2 deciding days, going to be a lot of tension in the bunch! Hoping that Ochoa Quintero hold good form and keeps out of danger on the flat stages; hopefully not too windy, as echelons will be a lottery.

hmm, this might not have been the best choice of a win goal but seeing as it's on home soil I felt we had to go for it. Hopefully we can score well here with a few strong climbers and with so many sprint stages Awang's home bonus will hopefully count for something in one of them.

The longest race so far for this season for Eddie Stobart, hope the guys can make themselves proud
This race is also our first Goal of the Season with a Top 5 finish on the GC

After Middle East this is my next goal. It would be really disappointing if Rodrigues couldn't achieve the top 5. Uugunbayar could be able to score some points in the sprints. |

Hoping for a god result from Fernandez in the GC. And also wanting a lot of attacking. And Lobato to score a point or two in the sprints would be nice.

Well, it's the classic Langkawi route, what did you expect?
Looking forward to watch this, especially the sprints as reporting New Zealand didn't really give me a good idea who are the strongest CT sprinters with the strange gameplay.

Well, it's the classic Langkawi route, what did you expect?
I'm not that deep into cycling to know the classic route for Langkawi And had too shabby sprinters in the past two ManGame-years to remember a Langkawi-race with Oz involved

Arroyo's first race this season and also the first goal race of the team. Anything less than a win here would be dissapointing. But I would settle for a top three aswell. Hoping that Guilllen wont destroy his chances though..

Our trump card has been unveiled
Nice to see a stage end in a mass sprint, and see that we actually have a functioning train, so although 4th out of 4 of the 'big' sprinters not too displeased and gives us a base from which to work upon for further stages.
