@Dippofix and Shonak: Glad to see you happy
@Kubys: It was just so tempting, for a long while now!
@Cycleman: I wouldn't be so sure about that, but I hope I'll be pretty successful.
Who am I?
Well, it seems a lot of you come into this with prior knowledge. I am Delfi Cervero, Costa Rican Puncher extraordinaire. At least I hope so, things aren't going too well at the moment.
I have been riding my bike for 10 years now. I only started when I was 13 years old, riding around Costa Rica. The hills there were my favourite part, anything longer and I'd give up, but I'm not that great on the flat either. I turned out to be a bit of an issue I could only ride up small hills later, but that's a story for another day.
I didn't really impress anybody in the lower ranks. I didn't have great ambitions, I never thought I would make it to be a pro. Then one day, everything changed. I was riding a local amateur race, and an agent found me. He introduced himself as Mr Hobbit, and said he'd turn me into a pro.
In the beginning, he did all sorts of things to find me a team, from forging tests and stats, to making illegal dealings with some if the team managers. He found me lots of teams, but everytimeit seemed to fall through as soon as they actually saw me riding. Then, one day, they didn't ask for a trial, and I found myself a contract...
Cervero time had begun. |

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good job by Mr. Hobbit to find Cervero a contract. Wonder how he did that.

Sounds like this should be brilliant.
Cervero Returns!!! Hopefully he can bring in a few good results.

It's Cervero, he'll only bring in results when it's his absolutely last chance.

This.
Po-Ding Kim as manager would be quite great.

Judging by the title we can assume:
-- The story won't make it past January (most don't!)
-- Cevero will quickly become easily one of the best riders (95% of one rider stories end up like that, which is such a cliché)
Anyway, might be interesting to see what shenanigans Delfi gets up to and whether he can win something. Maybe he can start with the Indonesian championships? |

Not sure how you get that from the title Not good to assume that this story will be a flop.Have some optimism

-- Bit harsh
-- This is... Cervero... we're talking about...
Anyway, good luck Hobbit

@Ollfardh: It wouldn't be Cervero without an evil manager.
@Shonak: Yeah, he must be some sort of genius.
@Cycleman: Hehe, that's a nice idea, maybe they will meet later.
@LLS and Dippo: Thanks, but good results... Not a chance
@The Rider: Maybe this will be an un-average story an un-average rider then? Also, Tonton Susanto and Iman Sooparman would smash him in the Indonesian Championships |
