The Draft is getting closer and closer. Less than a month to go, and mock drafts are coming up everywhere. Nothing but the private workouts (and tape studying) are left to influence which players the teams will draft. I haven't followed College football, so I don't really know that much about the players....But a pattern has started to show at least for top 10.
But I will try to give my opinion from what I have read:
1. Houston Texans (Blake Bortles QB)
The Houston Texans really really need a QB. More and more mockdrafts are suggest that Texans take the Blake Bortles with the first overall pick. I'm not sure whether they will pick Bortles of Clowney. I really hope for the Texans they pick Clowney...But I don't think they will. So my pick for the Texans is Blake Bortles.
2. St. Louis Rams (Jadeveon Clowney DE)
The Rams really need help at OT, but I don't think they can or will pass on Clowney. Together with Quinn, he will make a fantastic front. The Rams are in a very difficult division with Cardinals, Seahawks and 49ers. They need a strong front to compete with these teams, so they will take Clowney, and I think they might trade up from (13th spot) to take a OT, most likely Taylor Lewan if he's still on the board.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (Khalil Mack OLB)
Jags need lots of talent, they need to start all over. Why not fill some holes with the projected best passrusher in the draft? They have no legitimate franchise QB and I don't think Gus will take Watkins at no 4. The WR class should be very deep, so there will be plenty of room to pick a no.2 guy (if Blackmon will be back - the big question) later.
4. Cleveland Browns (Sammy Watkins WR)
The Browns already have Josh Gordon, picking Watkins at 4th would make those 2 a deadly combo. I think the Browns are in love with Derek Carr - all things suggest it. I think they might pick him at 4th, but that would really really be a reach....They need to keep their head cool, and they will.
5. Oakland Raiders (Greg Robinson OT)
I don't see the Raiders taking a QB here, they just brought in Schaub. If they pick Manziel, all the fans fo sure will be shouting Jonny Football, when things go a bit wrong. Anyone say de ja vu (Tebow - Orton stuff). How to make Schaub good is by giving him time in the pocket, a great way to do this is by picking Greg Robinson (or Jake Matthews) whoever they will fall in love with. My guess is Greg Robinson.
6. Atlanta Falcons (Jake Matthews OT)
The Falcons desperately need help on that O-line. If Jake Matthews is available, they will pick him. Matty Ice need it.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Mike Evans WR)
They just shipped off Mike Williams, and McCown needs a weapon. A big target like Mike Evans would fit.
8. Minnesota Vikings (Jonny Football QB)
The Vikings have tried Cassel, Ponder, Freeman. They need a playmaker. That is what Jonny Football is (from the yt I have seen and read). Together with AP and Patterson they will be dangerous once again.
9. Buffalo Bills - (Eric Ebron TE)
I could see them trade down, but then again, probably not. If Ebron really is as good, as people say, he wont slip past 12 with the Giants if Lewan is picked. Bills got some pretty good receivers, but they need a top TE.
10. Detroit Lions (Anthony Barr OLB)
A lot suggests Detroit are going to pick a CB, but I really really don't hope so. Some might say the have a need at WR, but they just signed Tate, so another receiver doesnt make sense here. They need some energy in the linebacker group, and Barr will add that.
11. Tennessee Titans - Trade down to 13th
I could see the Titans pick Bridgewater. I'm not sure Turner is happy with Locker and who would? But they just lost Verner aswell, so picking the best coverage corner - Gilbert, might also be an option.
12. New York Giants ?
13. St. Louis Rams - Trade up to 11th Taylor Lewan OT.
I'm pretty sure they will pick Taylor Lewan, they need some upgrade on that O-line. If they get Clowney and Lewan, they will be pretty good this year, if Bradford steps up, and doesn't he. They will be able to pick a QB next year.
14. Chicago Bears
15. Pittsburgh Steelers
16. Dallas Cowboys
17. Baltimore Ravens
18. New York Jets
19. Miami Dolphins
20. Arizona Cardinals
21. Green Bay Packers
22. Philadelphia Eagles
23. Kansas City Chiefs
24. Cincinnati Bengals
25. San Diego Chargers
26. Cleveland Browns (from Indianapolis Colts)
27. New Orleans Saints
28. Carolina Panthers
29. New England Patriots
30. San Francisco 49ers
31. Denver Broncos
32. Seattle Seahawks
That's more or less what I have gathered of information. The rest of the guys I don't really know that much about. Could be anything I will leave it up to you to fill the rest, or post your mock draft (with a bit explanation). Hope that some of you americans will be able to tell me a bit more, than what I sucked up from ESPN and NFL.com

Bridgewater....then Manziel...then Clowney....then Bortles now...
These "experts" need to stop making a big story out of these mock drafts, just wait until the pick already

Lions WR please. Tate isn't good enough to fill that void completely.

I want a QB in the 2nd round. Bradford hasn't improved since his first year, and he wasn't really spectacular then either.
If we fix our O-Line and get a star QB, we have a Super Bowl winning team!

I think only two guys in the top 15 scream bust at this year's draft. I'd say they are Clowney and Evans. Both of them took so many plays off last year it was ridiculous, made me so mad as an Aggie fan to see Evans jogging his routes when he clearly wasn't the primary receiver. Clowney on the other hand, appeared out of shape last year, and I think is only a pass rush guy in the NFL.

Rewatch clowney, he was constantly being blocked with 2-3 guys after his crazy season a year ago.
I agree with you on evans but I think some of the QBs might be busts (specifically bottles)
If I was Houston I would take Clowney, then they would have the best deffensive line in the NFL in the next few years.
Then they wouldn't be that good in the next few year and they could find a good QB through the draft or trades/free agency
Thats more of a long term plan though |

Did you really have to leave the only team I care about blank?

Well Tannehill really needs some protecting, how many hits didn't he take last year <.< Zack Martin has been brought on the board a few times. A possible solution

Sure, it's pretty informational to me as well. But I don't like it when you see on ESPN "BREAKING NEWS: XXX projected to go first in Mel Kiper's Mock Draft 25.0" or something along the lines

So, as we're in May now what are people's predictions, both in general and for their teams? I can see the Browns going for Watkins and Bridgewater/Carr, but a lot can change. Quite interested to see who lands the Manziel circus also. |

My hope is Clowney slips to #2. Then the value of our #2 pick is massive and hopefully we can trade it for either another few picks or maybe a superior QB to Bradford. Otherwise drafting him or Watkins would be great I think.

I don't really know what to hope for from the Browns. Definitely a QB at 4 or 26, maybe Manziel at 4 or Bridgewater at 26 if he's there. Otherwise, a CB or WR would be desirable, but to be honest I have no clue what they'll do. |

If Bridgewater is still on the board at 26, I am not going to watch a draft for the rest of my life, he is so much better than the rest of the QBs. But of course, sort by highlight plays and pro days and this is what you get.
And for the Giants, I would draft: Donald, Lewan, Z. Martin if they are available.

Bridgewater will be the first pick of the second round.
Miami at #19 predicting them to take an O-lineman from Bama.
