How to add national championships?
SilasColdfire
Hi everybody!

RSLT / Trek Factory is my favourite team, which is why I would like to add the national championships of Luxembourg and New Zealand into the game, instead of only getting a message saying "bla bla is new the champion of Luxembourg."

Is there any way that could be done?

Thanks in advance for any kind of help!

Cheers,
Silas

There is a way it can be done but I'm not sure how.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Follow this guide to add races: https://pcmdaily.com/tipstricks.php?ti...p?tipid=49 It works the same for national championships. Just make sure that the day it will be held is after the day you receive the mail from f.e. Luxembourg. When you don't put the race after the day you got that mail then the winner from that mail will be the new national champion.

Okay, my game is crashing when I try to play the race. The reason:

"Btw, don't forget to place the stage files in CM_stages. Good luck!"

Where can I find these stage files?

CrueTrue
First, the game won't crash if the files are not present. It will just use a different stage.

Second, if you've downloaded some stages that you want to use as national championships, well, only you know where they are Wink The CM_Stages folder is inside the folder where you installed the game, though (e.g. Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013).

The more likely reason why it's crashing is that you did not change the IDs of the race (first column in STA_race) or the IDs of the stages (first column in STA_stage).

True, I didn't change the IDs, I didn't touch the generated ones; because it isn't mentioned in the guide to do so. What do I have to put in there?

It will crash in PCM11. That was one of the biggest progresses to PCM12 Wink

Edit: Also if you're not used to adding stages/races it's often easier/safer to just copy another race similar to the one you want and just change location and ID. That way you can even have thr route change from one year to another if you choose to copy a race with variants.

So you're saying I could just take the Australian Championships, copy/paste them into a new row and just change date, name & location?

edit: I tried to do that in the PCM Fast Editor, I can click "Copy Row" but I cannot click "Paste Row" afterwards Frown

edit#2: and what must the ID be?

Yes. You don't have to change the date even Wink

In fast editor you will have to copy the contents of every cell individually after clicking "add" to get a new row. You can also use excel editor, but there you will also have to only copy the cells actually needed as it thinks you hae made a much mor drastic change if you copy the "unused" cells as well.

Edit: The ID can be whatever you want as long as it's not used by another stage/race. If you click "new" in Fast editor it will automatically give you a vacant ID. Also remember to link the race and the stage correctly, which is easiest done by unticking "Use list in grid" in Settings and putting in the ID-number in stead of trying to find it in the drop-down menu.

Nevermind.

Don't copy the ID. Each race and stage has to have its own unique ID.

Did you change the date when the race is?

Ktos
yes, too

MrUfo87
I think that this is the problem. When you change the date of the race, you have to change the gene_i_computed_date as well. When you place the race on the same day as another race, you can just copy it. When it's on a dat when there's no other race you have to calculate by yourself. You calculate it this way: month number x 50 + day number. E.g.: March 15th = 3x50 + 15 = 165. When you're not in your first season it will be more difficult because the numbers are a lot bigger than normal.

Game crash again. I think the problem is I have pcm 2013 and the tutorial is for pcm 2011 - my bad :/.
I have same problem:
https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=31644
EDIT: next error - in the game, in list of NC's the Luxembourg national championships has good profile, but when I select team appears profile "plouay-plouay", next game crash
