Well, this is the moment that I'm sure many of you have been waiting for. After a couple of weeks of tallying up the huge number of PMs we finally have the startlists for all of the elite races. The U23 list will be made in the near future based on the U23 riders who have been selected here. Before I put the list here I just want to thank many of you for your kind words in the PMs and for pointing out some of my mistakes as I went.
So without further ado...

Both Gesink and Posthuma are in the time-trial. It's like I don't even care what happens for the rest of the day

Just wondering Count if you could let us know some of the voting figures.
FoR Belgium it was a shame that there was no Bakelants, that said Claeys is a pretty decent long shot.

What do you want to know? I obviously won't say who voted for what but I can let you know some things.

Just any surprises or close run things. Yeah not all the figures and who voted for whom exactly. Is there no one any better for France than some crappy PCT top ten guy Were there any politicking in the major teams?
Anyway you've done a Great job here with all the vote counting etc.

I am very pleased that my team got 5 riders to the World Championship with Cunego, Claeys, Monfort, Cobo and Lloret. Thats a new high for us.

No Bakelants is not great for Boasson Hagen's chances, I think, as it probably forces Norway to do a lot more work at the front. I doubt the team is strong enough to pull late attackers back.
There are some crazy strong nations on the startlist, which should make for a great race with lots of attacks. It will be huge, just like any other world championship. |

No Roche? Weird. And why was Bakelants not nominated? Wouldn't he have great chances?

His manager hasn't been online since September.

Happy to get some Boeing riders into the Worlds. JTL for the RR and Parra for the TTT. It's not much but it's a start. Just wait until Bulgaria qualify their own team!

Vrecer, Silva and Roman should help each leader in their respective teams. |
