Hi all friends!
I know you can set the wind direction in SE but what mean the numbers between -1 and 359? They are degrees? How could I set a wind from northwest?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

Just do degrees...
0 North
45 North east
90 east
135 south east
180 south
225 south west
270 west
315 North west
360=0 North again. |

In a circumference 0º are east, 90º north, 180º west and 270º south. This is since I was a child...
But ingame I don't know how it is...

I've always been taught that 0 is north as that's what it is on a compass and in bearings which are used by ships.

We are talking about different things...
The question is: ingame which are the correct values?
For northwest what will be the wind value? 45?

I still think North west is 315, see above, that the direction NW is... If they chose another system it would over complicate things massively, but I dunno how things are done on the continent, as PCM is. French, so who knows.(French people probably) |

Wind direction 90 is West-east. Ergo is 270 coming from east to west. Dont know if 0 is north og south though..

I'm engineer and I think like an engineer... I was thinking about trigonometry and I have transfered the circumference degrees to the cardinal points.
Perhaps your theory is better but, nobody knows how these numbers work in PCM? Had anyone tested it and see how it works?

I have tested ingame and you are ok:
0 North
45 North east
90 east
135 south east
180 south
225 south west
270 west
315 North west
360=0 North again.
These values are correct ingame.

Thanks for clarifying!
Thought it is this way, but it's nice to know someone really tested. |

Yes, it's tested and clarified.
Only as a clarification: These values correspond to where the wind comes from. For example, 0 North means that the wind comes from the north, not that the wind goes to the north.

I don't agree. I tested it to be the oposite way.

I have tested it with the wind dispositive (I don't know the real word in english to this dispositive...) and I'm totally sure of my values.
In any case, if you're not agree, please tell why...
