Hey guys, as you may recall, I did a thread last year on making stages, and I had to quit when my stage maker quit working.
This year, I am going to set out on what I did last year, create a race in all 50 states of the USA! I will be making a race in every state, and will update this map below on my progress.
GREEN means the race is complete
BLUE means I am currently working on the stage
RED means that I can not make the race because of missing .dem files (updated as I find out)
ORANGE means that it has been requested and the number is the "priority"
LAST MAP UPDATE - 7/7/13 @ 8:15 PM
Please, DO NOT request that I make a specific route, I am making all the routes as I see fit, no matter if they are in the middle of nowhere.
However, you may request that I do a certain state next, if you would like to see that race have a state. Alot of the states will be mostly flat, but many states also have mountains!
I will be posting download links after I made each race, and I will post each stages information as soon as I have made it. This will not be moving at a fast pace due to my story having top priority and me preparing for college.
The number of stages will also be determined by me, but I will never exceed 12. (exceptions are California, Texas & Alaska).
The routes, sprints, cities, and elevations will all be 100% real.
You guys may start requesting states now if you wish, only 1 state per person please.. Thank you guys!

Do you have dem files for Hawaii? I couldn't see it on your map. And will you be converting what you already did for 12 or starting again in those states?

For me, a stage-race along the coast(New york, Washington, Miami) would be cool.
But right, I may only request a state, so I'll request Alaska

Hey guys... I am going to investigate the .dem files later and cross out all states i cant do. I will test the borders around the USA to see what can be done....
I discovered the ones in red now as i was about to make them.

If you ever do California or Colorado may i recommend AToC and USAPCC variants, as they are already big races and you can never have too many variants.
And if you ever get around to North Carolina/Virginia then a variant of my Tour of the Appalachians can't be bad either

You've got to do Hawaii, but I doubt it has a .dem file.
Try and remake the climb Hesjedal trains on every off-season

Sneak peak - Fairly flat stage, one sprint in the middle of the stage, some of the stage is rode near coastline.

STAGE 1 IS DONE!!!
Course will follow this route!
Race so far and elevation for Stage 1, it is obvious that a Stage 2 will be needed, so that will be previewed later.
