The Giro del Capo is already a well known race in the Man Game and goes into the 6th edition.
The former winners show that you need to be a good puncheur to win the race. This didn`t change with 2 hilly stages, where the 4th might end as the most selective. But also the climbing skills are important as the 5th stage is a mountain time trial. This might explain the lack of many top puncheurs of this division.
Top favourite is once again a Gazelle rider. And it`s no one else but their leader  Weening. And he has some support behind him other teams could only dream of. Several 2nd tier puncheurs and most interesting Nardin, who already showed lots of good races so far.
Behind the dominant looking Gazelle squad we have a row of riders, who could make life hard for them such as:  Nieve,  Ngue,  Martinez,  Toribio,  Torckler,  Lahsaini and the Armavia duo  Wang/Tamayo Martinez.
Sprinter wise this race is not that good. Even though the first three stages are flat rated, none of those does look very easy. But it`s nice to see a nice list of great sprinters, who will try nevertheless.
 Die Berg Komt Er seems to concentrate on those stages mainly. With Rizza and Duque they have a dangerous duo here.
 Ekspla is very similar. Friedman and Meenhorst are good options to grab a stage win.
More sprinters are Day, Anton Martin and Murray.
But also you mustn`t forget Nardin and
Tockler, who already showed their great skills on tougher sprinter stages.

Was doubting between sending Moreno and Rodriguez here. Seems like I send neither. But a good chance for Toribio and Gallego to show they can be leaders aswell. Hoping for a top 10 from one of them.
Can't see any gaps forming on the hilly stages so the MTT will be important. Nieve to win for me.

Top 5 as a goal, but I think we can take the win. The hilly stages could be unselective, leaving the MTT to decide the race. Martinez should be the favourite there. |

Not sure what to expect here, but top 10 is a strict minimum in this rather small field. I like that we are rated as outsiders, hope we can make a surprise or two here! |

I got a fairly decent squad here: Ngue, Rabie, Niyonshuti, Lutsenko and Day (if things come down to a bunch kick). The mountain TT up Signal Hill should be interesting, but I don't really see anybody beating Gazelle for the overall honours.
Well, it's our home race so we're hoping for something special

Agreed there, I think SN worked really hard to try and avoid a lot of this. Have some mixed memories of this race, hope the C2 guys get a nice one, but the small field here could be a problem.
Martinez is the man to beat, though Weening is going to be dangerous if he can force the gaps.

I agree, although Hoffman, Ciocan and Kritskiy must be in the vicinity. Cadbury are doing very well for a condemned team, perhaps due to Smowz planner picking skills |

Then it may be really exciting for us through the next stages, though stage 4 and 5 is too hard for him. But I hope he at least goes for the KoM-jersey. |

Cadbury's do not work together, the men know they have to put themselves in the shop window for next year.
The wonderful purple jerseys do the job. Trust Gazelle to ruin the Cadbury's love fest .
Seriously though Gazelle have put together a great team of all rounders. Nardin. Furdi, Weening etc. they are not big names who would have been on everybody's shopping list at the beginning of the transfer season. Smart guy!

I love this race - man Cadbury's are doing a Rothaus!
This stage was surely tougher than a strong mans sprint though, decisive stages in the race to come.

True. Cadbury`s are having an excellent first three stages while Iberia had collected all the bad luck at once.
