Nice preview Ian.
For me, it is Nibali vs. Contador vs. Purito vs. Sky showdown, i think Contador will win it with help from very strong team, or Froome will.
Another Greipel vs. Cav battle, i wonder if Sagan or Degenkolb can challenge them on some of the "easier stages.Anyway 2nd road stage and last road stage could be best bets for Peter and Degenkolb.

I'm looking forward to see how Sagan does in Chieti this year. With Lanciano staying in the route.

MTN - Qhubeka: The first African team in a WT race. Pretty cool I'm pretty excited to see how Jay Thompson's new NC jersey looks

Isn't Schleck on the list? Strange, this list is from the site from Tirreno... |

No, that wasn't 7 years ago either
Everyone was waiting for the mountains and he just kinda sorta got left with the lead after the mountain stage was cancelled.
But hey, cheer up. Vaughters says that while Dekker can't reach his 2008 level without drugs, he can reach his 2007 Tirreno winning level!

Hi all,
What do you think about Cadel Evans chances against Nibali, Contador and Froome? |

Not the best, but depends on form.
But honestly, he's 36, it's unlikely he can ever go back to his best, he's almost certainly on the downward slope and getting worse every year.
Although the same likely applies to Contador

Only partly true Isso. Dekker had ambitions for the win in Tirreno (well known to everyone) that year and was leading after the TT ready to defend for the motni delle laga. Yes a climb, but not really as serious as the mt stages the past few years. Also, he reconned that climb before. Don't think he would have lost that lead that year. In stead they had an easy stage to Macerate yeah.. but still |

Jaksche was in one hell of a form. With the time bonuses he'd just need to finish ahead of Dekker. More importantly, 2006 Basso was stalking at less than a minute

I remember the race. Think Ruben is quite right. Dekker rode a strong timetrial and it looked very hard for his opponents to overtake him, no matter how hard that stage was.

Hmm I think it doesnt matter that he is 36. I would say he still has capabilities to win however in climbing he is not equal to Contador or Froome. Anyway Armstrong in his 37 ended third in TDF. He declared that in 2009 he had not been cheating. But yeaaaah, who knows |

I think its going to be a very tight race.I don't see many diferences being made in the stage of prato di tivo and just like last year the winner will be decide in the final time trial. Also looking forward too see the first battles between cav and greipel and i give the edge to the gorilla because lotto sprint train is looking really sharp. |
