Cool, I'm disappointed I didn't get a mention, but I guess I can live with that.
I really like the presentation.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
Miguel98 -- It will take all of my time just to publish The Cobbler.
mb2612 -- with 9 more issues, you have lots of time to get singled out.

MHaley, you've excelled yourself here with some really excellent work. I say work though I can see you are much like me, it's a labour of love.
Really enjoyed that read, I probably enjoyed the interview the most was a really nice mix. A question for you mhaley - are cobblestones the races you most enjoy in real life?
I like the unique ranking system and am interested to see how they'll evolve. Not sure what they are based on at the moment based on last seasons results Boonen (hey I am not the only one who struggles to spell his ridiculously easy name) should be waay ahead of the rest.
I must admit I didn't see the cobbles at the Tour of Bretagnes until I looked really hard. This after I have just voluteered to race and report it Now looking forward to reporting it more than ever. Feel free to ask for any contributions in future issues.

Really enjoyed this, looking forward to the other issues. Hopefully I will get some lucky results with my trio (Gaudin/Zepuntke/Sieberg) and get another mention, specially when Gaudin wins Bahir Dar Keep up the good work

Smowz - My first cobble race was a time delay TV replay of Paris-Roubaix from the mid-1990's that I saw on tv while on vacation in Montreal, Quebec. It was the most dramatic race I had ever seen. So yes I do love the cobbles.
The ranking system is still in development, but it has two goals. Since the ManGame riders skills do not aways match the tour they ride on I wanted the ranking system to assign a a quality value to each race not based on PT, HC, C1, C2 but on the quality of the top riders in the field. Second, ManGame points do not always reflect the true story of the race.
So the Cobble Rankings will evaluate the skills of the top 20 cobblers in the starting field. Usually that will match the race level but not always. Then finishing points will be key but so will time behind the winner. This will benefit riders who "ride up" think Bpost's plans to ride 4 cobble wildcards on the PT or Allianz-BMW who plans to race in C1 races.
I am right now toying with having a couple of bonus points catagories that will be awarded in each race. The most agressive cobble section rider and like NASCAR racing the rider who spends the most time in the lead (even if he fades at the end).
In the end all cobblers will be ranked together in one set of standings.
