Team Nintendo - Ambuja Cycling
Welcome to Nintendo-Ambuja Cycling, a new international team that has recently gained Continental Pro status. We have a European base in the splendid Bavarian city of Munich, so we can keep within close range of the majority of the calendar. Our aim is to challenge for promotion to the World Tour and prove that an Asian-backed team has got what it takes to compete at the highest level. We are very lucky to have the multimillion pound Japanese mega-giant company Nintendo sponsoring us, and we hope that our team can do them proud, as well as our secondary sponsor from India, Ambuja Cement. This deal with one of the biggest companies in India represents a new step in the development of cycling in India, a country surely with vast untapped reserves of talent.

Hello Nintendo - Ambuja Cycling fans!
My name is Rudy Verboven, and I'm proud to be a part of this team. A little about myself first, I'm a 22 year old Belgian specialised in Classic races. I grew up with Cyclist such as Johan Museeuw, Frank Vandenbroucke, and more recently Tom Boonen and Philippe Gilbert to look up to. My parents bought me a racing bike for my 16th birthday, and I loved cycling like nothing else. Well, there might be one thing
So, here I was at the start of my first season as a professional and then there were these huge reforms and everything. And in all the chaos, I saw one team with an international vision. I immediatly had a good feeling when talking to the manager, and not much later I signed my 2 year contract with Nintendo - Ambuja. A continental team seems like the perfect place to start for me!
Since the calendar for the Continental Tour has not been announced yet, I can't say where I'll ride yet. I do hope we get a few wildcards so I can show myself in the races I like. I'd really like to ride a few of the Monuments, but we'll have to wait and see unfortunately. One day, I want to win Ronde van Vlaanderen, Paris - Roubaix and Milan - San Remo, but this season I just want to help the team earn promotion, and maybe get my first win along the way.
I'm good on the flat, can survive cobbles, and love it when we go uphill. Though not a sprinter, I can manage myself in a small group or on an uphill finish. I think I can help the team earn the promotion we want with my skills, and hopefully improve myself further along the way.
~ Rudy

Yoshihiro Miyamoto, that is a name that I have never heard before. also might be living in the past but I don't think that Nintendo has the rights of DK. Rareware has them

He's Shigeru's fictitious cousin... I think Nintendo ultimately has the rights over DK but they've previously somehow leased them to first Rare and now Retro but I'm not sure.

Kreuziger penned in as leader
Czech rider Roman Kreuziger has joined Nintendo-Ambuja Cycling on a 2-year contract. We are very excited to have him onboard and hope that he can deliver several successes for our team throughout the season as a team leader. He will be an excellent man to have in the team, having been ridden into the Tour de France Top 10 twice and also into Giro Top 10 during his career.

Hello fans!
Glad to see the team is finaly allowed to draft! Apparently, we got the first pick we wanted, Roman Kreuziger. He's pretty much a legend, glad we could sign him, being only a continental team. Of course since we're totaly different riders, we won't ride together much, but if we do, I'll give it my best to give him a nice GC!

Nintendo-Ambuja sign former Vuelta winner!
In a great coup for the team, having been near the end of the draft; Nintendo-Ambuja can announce today that they have signed the three times Grand Tour winner Denis Menchov. Although approaching the twilight of his career, his ability is not to be doubted, as his impressive palmares shows. Denis has had experience with the Pro Continental Division before and will be a valuable co-leader to the team.
