Sebastian Lander
Country: | Denmark | Born: | 11.03.1991 | Team: | Glud & Marstrand - LRØ | Pro since: | 2010 | Height: | 175cm | Weight: | 70kg |
The 20 year-old Sebastian Lander certainly is a talent. At a very early age, he won the Youth Olympics and the Junior World Championship; during his first two years as a junior, he took 24 wins on the road. The young Lander is a product of GM-LRØ breeding, as he used to be a key rider for GM's highly succesful junior team.
Lander has also proved his skills as a U-23 rider, eg by winning a Nations' Cup stage as well as a 3rd place at the U-23 version of Liège-Bastogne-Liège. At the U-23 Worlds in 2010, he finished 8th.
Sebastian Lander is an all-rounder. He has won several European and World Championship medals on the track, and last year he debuted on the 6-day stage - and even won a derny race. His track skills makes him a strong finisher on the road, where he has certainly proved his strength by beating the entire Danish elite field in a bunch sprint in Charlottenlund in 2010. Furthermore, Lander also rides a decent time trial and performs well at hilly stages.
Most significant results:
4th - La Côte Picarde (Nations' Cup) (2011)
4th - Danish U-23 RR Championship (2011)
1st - Coupe des Nations VilleSaguenay, stage 1 (2010)

1st - World Championship, points (2009), track

Of course it is
Now the next thing. Lander has already 71 in sprint, but he also has lots of potential in time trial and I can't decide which one will be he's second specialization. So I give you a choose you want him to be rather like Cancellara, Boonen or his TT/SP stats should be rather the same. Valverde321 guess the rider first, so his vote will count twice |
