Just want to throw the names of Thibaut Pinot into the mix along with Van Garderen after their performances in the tour. They have both climbed as well as Evans (And Van Garderen has exceeded him on a few occasions) |

Waht has Rujano done? I'd add Horner there if you have Velits. Other names you missed: Dan Martin, Vanendert, Scarponi are also missed here. Velits, Vino, Anton would fit there and reshuffle.

At the moment Rujano is not that strong indeed.
Horner is on equal level to Vino, Kreuziger and Velits IMO.
I indeed forgot Scarponi, he should be equal to Sammy.
Dan Martin would be around 30th spot, same goes for Vanendert.
Conclusion: THERE'S TOO DAMN MANY CLIMBERS!

I'm sorry where were Vino and Velits are getting 8th from the peleton on MTF in the TDF?
And Dan Martin and Vanendert have won MTFs in grand tours ahead of everyone on that list.

Forgot him, opps. Probably at #9 for me.
And its too hard to say for sure after about the Top 10 anyway, riders are always on or off form.

I don't see why everybody is putting Evans so low ... yes he's had a shocking tour but he's horrible out of form and probably sick. Five years of great climbing and one bad tour doesn't suddenly make him a worse climber (ability wise, not currently) then everybody else is making him out to be. Remember how Nibali got dropped at the Dauphine?

The difference is Nibali is in shape at his objective race this year and Cadel is out of shape entire season. He won the tour last year, good for him but IMO he won't be on high level again.
