Liquigas and Saxo Bank negotiating merger.
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/liqui...ge-in-2013
Basso, Sagan, Viviani, Moser and Caruso are staying. Kreuzinger could come back with Brambilla and De Marchi also coming. And Contador. Al others (including Szmyd and Nibali) would go to BMC.
This is all just speculated of course. And wasn't Contador trying to get to Movistar next year?

Imagine how unstoppable that team would be if Sagan keeps improving.

Bjarne Riis working with Peter Sagan. Scary. And Contador. More scary. And Basso for that matter. Dont know how scary he is though. |

The Gazzetta reported that Nibali will move to BMC Racing Team, together with Alessandro Vanotti, Valerio Agnoli, Sylvester Szmyd and Daniel Oss.
Szmyd at BMC... wow, that is huge. They have always lacked a great mountain domestique, and it looks like they may end up with the best one.

Really interesting news, if true. But well, I can't imagine where would Riis find that needed money for that..

Sebastien Turgot won't get a ban for 3 missed doping tests.
In two cases, UCI is to blame, while the other one was due to internet problems.

Oh, and I greatly dislike the thought of Contador and Sagan in one team.

Where did you get the quote from? Maybe cyclingnews changed it, but now they write:
The Gazzetta reported that Nibali will move to Astana, with Sylvester Szmyd and Daniel Oss going to BMC Racing Team.

In German news it also said all to BMC. I was pretty surprised as I think the Nibali-Astana deal is pretty fix. |

I really hope that this is just rumours. Don't want Riis managing Liquigas.

I got it from that same article. They obviously changed it :/ stupid cyclingnews. I thought that Nibali going to BMC sounded odd, but I just took it as one of those ridiculous things that the media in general come up with every now and again. Turns out is was just CN's fault.

Wow, those would be strange changes. But let's wait until we hear something we can rely on. |

Well, I think Liquigas are going to end their sponsorship in the end of this year.. So, I think he still needs a co-sponsor next to Saxo Bank, especially with really high wages of Contador, Basso, Sagan and Kreuziger as well.

Well, I see it really unlikely, I think Specialized are giving Riis a lot of money to pay that insane Contador's wage, that could be the main problem.. But as always almost everything is possible in cycling..
