Started the thread earlier this year as I am already excited for it thsi year
I think it won't be as good as last year in terms of the acts.
Over the last few years some acts have gone on to become my favourite singers, 2010 winner Lena Meyer Landrut of Germany and 2011 4th placed for Ukriane Mika Newton
So Azerbaijan won the competition last year, this means Azerbaijan will be the hosts.
One of the presenters has been confirmed as Eldar from the winning duo last year.
During the course of the next month before Eurovision starts, I will update the post with all the songs for this years contest.
Then you can decide who you think will win, who would be the surprise package this year and have a laugh about the weirdest funniest songs.
As a german, I think our contender this year is pretty weak to be honest. A song that is very un-Eurovision Song Contest so if it's in the Top 15 that would be for me a surprise

That Swedis song isn't bad it all. Could be produced by Armin van Buuren or Tiesto!
Please, do NOT check the Dutch song, performed by Joan Franka... It's terrible, it makes me feel digusted to be Dutch. And that's why I'll watch the ETC, makes me laugh a lot!

So far I have heard the Cyprus entry, that's a decent song, Gaitana for Ukraine, definitely worse than the amazing Mika Newton last year , UK's, Engelbert Humperdinck, not to bad just old and Roman Lob of Germany who is very very good and I think could have a very good chance.

Again? It was bad enough last time
I think thats just boring and nothing special.. There are many ways to "win" the Eurovision Song Contest but now having a "good" singer isn't enough. The song is very boring and not catching enough.. I hate it that Germany will everytime holding a casting show for the EVSC..
I think there should be a revival of Dschingis Khan for Germany next year, I think it would be a instant top 5 song.

I think Lena should represent Germany every year, shes amazing
Just heard Enge's rehearsals, my opinion so far not good, the song sounds sketchy live and even slower than the pre recorded version. I really think were gonna struggle this year. Despite this the ending is rather good but thats it.
