Evans and Gilbert to work Together at Strade Bianche
https://www.sbs.co...de-bianche
Think Evans will help Gilbert defend his race that he won last year. |

BMC hints it may expect more from Ballan than Gilbert in Strade Bianche
Ballan showed decent form, so I think Gilbert might do more domestique role in that race this year.

So Gilbert is aiming for something big this year. |

Well yes Ronde is much tougher this year, almost as simialr to an Ardennes classics as the riders say. Then's there's Amstel, Fleche and Liege as well as Tour, Olympics and Worlds and smaller races. And by giving Ballan a lead, Ballan can on other hand help him as much as he can in later races. A bit similar how Wiggins paced Porte at Alrgarve. And now Porte will do same for him at PN.

Great interview with Sergio Henao, really amazing read.
https://www.cyclin...-both.html
Few interesting points to point out. Hs biggest dream is not to win the Tour de France but to win Roubaix. He asked Sky himself to ride 3 days of West-Flanders, as well as his 100% confirmed for Giro. Fantastic read

Any idea about when he'll be racing again? I'm quite interested in seeing how he fares now he's got a (more than decent I guess) contract.

Good news, the Vuelta al PaÃs Vasco has been saved!
https://www.noticiasdegipuzkoa.com/201...o-se-salva
No mention of the Clásica de San Sebastián in the article, but it's safe to assume that it's been saved as well.

The Tour just got worse for the Schlecks. The two timetrials will be slightly longer than earlier announced;
9th July will go from 38km to 41,5km.
21th July from 52km to 53,5km.

I'd like to see the look on Andy's face when he sees that. I bet he'll blame ASO if he doesn't win the Tour next year.

Something along the lines of how a true Tour champ doesn't win by TT, or how pointless the TT is, or something like that

Every time Andy tells the press that the route is perfect for him, they'll increase the time trial kilometers. Seems fair enough to me. |

it's in the bag for Bradley Wiggins
Deep down they want a British winner of the TDF, well I like to think that

From a Commercial Perspective it would be great. However, it would make the French look even worse. |
