It's becoming a habit to open "News in..." thread way long before the month starts here in Europe. |

Apologies if this has been posted.
Caja Rural and Katusha's new jerseys. Finally a Katusha jersey that isn't butt ugly. Still ugly though.

First a nice jersey, then the Canyon bike, and then i couldn't be more happier to see that they are going to ride on Mavic wheels
Now they only need a new squad, throw all corruption completely away, and drink a little less vodka to have me being a complete Katusha fan forever

It's not a kinda news But it would take me some moments to recognise new Ciolek look . When you maximize it, he looks like a cowboy minus the shirt
And just to add some news, Peter Sagan will start next Tour de France, his first.

Anyone who wants a laugh, here's a sorta-interview with the Schleck brothers
Spoiler Andy and Frank Schleck are not the most flamboyant riders found, they are usually polite and do not have the sharpest tongues. However, it is of course things that can put emotion into play in his brothers also, and in an interview with the magazine Cycle Sport, says the few episodes that have offended them.
Andy Schleck was second in the Tour de France for the past three years. In 2009 and in 2010 he was beaten by Alberto Contador, and this year it was Cadel Evans, who cheated him of the title.
Poor sportsmanship
In particular, 2010-win for Contador ailments youngest brother Schleck. On the 15.etappen in a climb, jump the chain to Andy, and Contador saw their chance to walk away from the unfortunate Saxo Bank rider. The goal separated the 39 seconds between them and the distance kept the Spaniard all the way to Paris. Such speculation, of course, creates, and many claimed that Andy Schleck lost the Tour on Contador bad sportsmanship. Although the Spaniard said at the time that he did not see what happened ...
- When I lost the yellow jersey in 2010 because of the chain, it was shit, but when I this year lost the Tour of Cadel on the final pace, had the Tour been so hard that I ran straight to the hotel, took a beer and was done with it. I did my best but had to take off my hat for Cadel who drove the pace on the way he did. He took the jersey as a true masterpiece in contrast to Contador last year, said Andy Schleck.
The attack by teammate
Also, his older brother, Frank, plagued by a case which occurred in 2008. That year he was a teammate Carlos Sastre of Bjarne Riis's former CSC-Saxo Bank. Schleck had the yellow jersey as Sastre ran from everything and everyone on the Alpe d'Huez and laid the foundation of his great triumph as a bike rider. The chemistry between Sastre and the Schleck brothers were destroyed, and Schleck is still sour that the Sastre attacked him.
- I have never seen anything like that before. You are in yellow and your teammate attacking you. It was a disappointment. Perhaps it was right after all is said and done, over the Carlos won the Tour that year, but today I wish that someone else had won. I could also have won the Tour that year, said Frank Schleck.
What planet does this journalist live in that has a "polite" Andy Schleck? Because it certainly isn't the planet I live on. Frank? Sure, damned nice guy.
But Andy? Massive jackass, constantly making crap up and insulting people left right and center.

The big brother is also funny:
I could also have won the Tour that year, said Frank Schleck.
When you can't finish inside the top 50 of the last time - trial, you hardly have a chance to win the Tour.

I know, I couldn't believe it when I read that. But I've read ridiculous stuff before about Andy Schleck being too nice, which is baffling.
It's strange in a way because usually Cycle Sport are more honest and not exactly afraid to upset people, but it seems that often in journalism, when an article is focused on an individual, or 2 individuals in this case, it seems to portray them in the best possible light no matter what. |

Sad to hear that Motorpoint - Marshalls Pasta are no more. Some pretty decent British riders now in need of a ride for 2012 |

Pedro Delgado showing just why cycling doesn't need people like him in our sport.
Contador suspension excessive, says Delgado
Alberto Contador "should not have any ban" former Tour de France winner, Pedro Delgado told Spain's EFE news agency. He said the Spaniard has "suffered enough" due to his failed doping test and subsequent court cases.
Spain's three-time Tour winner will know if he will race or serve a suspension when the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rules on his case next month. He tested positive for clenbuterol at the 2010 Tour de France, but maintains his innocence and says the clenbuterol came from eating a contaminated steak.
Contador's national federation acquitted him in February, but the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) appealed its decision to the CAS the following month.
