Welcome to the United States and an exiting hilly race here in the Battenkill valley, this is one of the mayor cycling races in the states and we are up for an exiting race.
The course goes up and down, with the worst hills having a gradient of 12%, not letting the riders take any break. This course can fit both a late attack by a great puncheur, or a lucky rider in the break of the day.
Favorites before the race are the Bianchi pair Claeys and Rabon, but if they can not decide who of them will lead there are many others just waiting for a chanse to take the win, including:
Sánchez
Dowsett
Pineau
Gautier
Wyss
This will for sure be an exiting race, where hopefully the most offensive rider wins. The hills will for sure not give anyone an easy ride!

If Gautier can get in the top 5 I will be immensely pleased. He hasn't got quite the same punch as some of the other guys, such as the Bianchi pair, but if it comes down to a handful of riders in a sprint, I don't mind his odds.
Also a lot of teams signed up for this one!

Can only hope for some tv - time, if my riders try to get in the early breakaway.

The race will be up around this time tomorrow ;-)
I just noticed that Benatti is here, should have written something about him... So just pretend it stands something about him

Nevermind
Here you go:
"Bennati, the world-class sprinter, is present here as well.
He has to worry the many steep hills though, and if he wants to justify his nomination, he has to hope for a slow pace and a calm finish."
Honestly, I don't expect a lot out of this.
Delage might be our best bid for the race, as I doubt Bennati will be in the leading group at the end, and if he'd be, he won't have the energy to use his sprinting stat. But a "Cape Argus"-style double breakaway could be quite successful

Hmm, hope that Wyss can do something or that it goes quite slow so Breschel show that I was a genius putting him here |

Heine had to wait for Czech and Turkey to end before posting it, so it was never going to be posted on the 22nd
Hopefully Dowsett can improve on his Turkish efforts

Damn!
That was a shocker from the Red Bull boys, I guess the jet lag travelling here there and everywhere got to them. Another stunning classic win by Hollister, they could be starting to get in on the promotion hunt.
Consolation I guess is another Classic slips by for the Bianchi squad. But a seriously poor performance from my squad here.

Well, that was lucky I always like breakaway wins, especially when I perform better than anticipated thanks to it. A lot of the big teams seemed to do nothing here, which was strange.

Praise PCM 11! - Another successful race despite a rather weak lineup.

Wow, very surprisingly, team goal number 1 achieved!
Didn't realize I had a Top 5 goal here until after the race report
Although I have to admit the 4th place doesn't fully please me when considering the composition of the winning move. Delage should have been able to finish two spots higher theoretically, but that's nit-picking.
These classics seem to provide the best terrain for breakaway wins. Congratulations to Hollister, great display of strenght by Scheirlinckx.

There are too much breakaway wins this season in my opinion
