A thread of its own for the least popular race on the calendar! Only 4 CT teams signed up to this Namibian race, and they are joined by a further 4 D2 teams, to take on the hilly route, with the start and finish both being in the capital city of Windhoek.
The favourites are Dmitri Claeys and Frantisek Rabon of Bianchi, Alex Dowsett of Rapha Condor - Qhubeka, and Vasili Kiryenka of TCS Bank - OJSC Rosneft. Oz Cycling being the 4th CT team involved.

Nice for the teams involved - should be some decent points hauls for them. |

Nice startlist Could be interesting with just a few teams.. don't see any chance for Oz here, maybe Bobridge with a surprising Top-10.

Sounds like a bargain for those CT teams in it, and only 8 teams should do the race unpredictable. Looking forward to read about it. |

Nice, a good change to bounce back after the horrible Dubai GP. Will be an interesting race and I hope we can get a top 10 with Serrano.

Be happy that you got a wildcard to the most undersubscribed race After Nedbank with 4 CT teams, the next lowest on the whole calendar was the two Mumbai races with 8 (with each having been increased to 11 with D2 teams)

I hope for more hill classics that are with less (good) teams
Looks like a knockout race between Bianchi, Rapha Condor and Tinkoff, maybe the team that hurts the other riders the most could grab the win

I'm seriously happy I'm not a promotion contender, at the sight of this.

I can now see that deciding on a mostly European calendar was a mistake.

opportunities like this are invaluable to promotion contenders, and it will be interesting to see who can capitalize.
I can see Bobridge putting up a nice result here for the Oz.

2nd for Dowsett, and my whole team scored ranking points, so has to go down as a good race.
I didnt think Bobridge's attack would work, but it did, so well done to tsmoha!

Awesome win for Oz. I dont mind seeing Meiji's rivals win as long as we aren't in the same race, but that was an awesome move.

Tim Vermeersch, 21st and 3rd best D2 rider. Actually, the whole Delhaize squad finished within the top 50th, 56 riders finished the race
Great to see my own jersey win and nice to see Vermeersch fight about an top-20. Congrats to T.S Moha and Bobridge!
