(I know, it's a bad logo Smile)

The New Zealand Cycling Federation has just announced a new cycling team for the 2011 season, called the KiwiSports Cycling Project. The team will function as a development team for New Zealands most promising cyclists.

THE TEAM

img849.imageshack.us/img849/7339/teamxb.jpg

Sanderson is our oldest and best rider, being very capable in the sprints, and we will have to rely on him for most of our victories. Jack Bauer and Jesse Sergent will also be very important the next season with their good TT abilites. Other than that we don't have any clear leaders, and therefore getting in breakaways will be very important if we want to win something.

EDIT: As someone noticed, Sanderson is actually Australian, so shame on you whoever made that DB-error. I have already played a bit in the career, so I won't restart, and just keep him as a Kiwi Smile

THE GOALS

img220.imageshack.us/img220/9796/goals.jpg

As this is a development team, we don't have any requirements to fulfill the goals that has been set, as long as our riders shows progress.

I would really appreciate if someone could make me a jerseySmile

My favourite story righter, writing a story about a New Zealand team. What could be better? Grin

And we know from your Senoble-Look story that Bennett turns into a beast Grin

Thanks Smile

Bennett has potential on this save also, but it doesn't look like he is going to much of a climber...

Really enjoyed your Senoble-Look story. Good to see another one from you Grin

Going to follow you again. I hope this one is even better than the Senoble one what is really difficult. Good luck mate!

Great to hear! Smile

I bet I'll have to play longer than 5 seasons to win the Tour de France, so we'll see how it goes...

Jack Bauer in the original break, but they get caught with 50 kms to go.

img21.imageshack.us/img21/470/34067191.png
But as they get caught some riders counters, Jack follows

He takes the first Mountain sprint

img148.imageshack.us/img148/7248/98457891.png
With 15 kms to go, the break only had about 30 seconds on the peloton, but then De Waele attacks, and the gap is increasing.

img641.imageshack.us/img641/9282/87296312.png
With 3kms to go the gap is just over a minute, and a podium finish looks promising

Great to see that you are making a story again, I really enjoyed following your last one! Good luck with an exiting team.

PS: Could you maybe give some info about what's going on "bhind the scenes", I'm thinkinh about new sponsors, and if maybe a scout has found a promising youngster? Wink

Thanks Smile

I'm not much of a writer so I don't think it will very interesting to read what is going "behind the scenes". However I will report IF there are anymore promising riders in NZ Smile

Oh, and there won't be any new sponsor, as I will edit the contract length as long as I play, and I will also adjust the budget each year, to allow higher wages.
