(I know, it's a bad logo )
The New Zealand Cycling Federation has just announced a new cycling team for the 2011 season, called the KiwiSports Cycling Project. The team will function as a development team for New Zealands most promising cyclists.
THE TEAM
Sanderson is our oldest and best rider, being very capable in the sprints, and we will have to rely on him for most of our victories. Jack Bauer and Jesse Sergent will also be very important the next season with their good TT abilites. Other than that we don't have any clear leaders, and therefore getting in breakaways will be very important if we want to win something.
EDIT: As someone noticed, Sanderson is actually Australian, so shame on you whoever made that DB-error. I have already played a bit in the career, so I won't restart, and just keep him as a Kiwi
THE GOALS
As this is a development team, we don't have any requirements to fulfill the goals that has been set, as long as our riders shows progress.
I would really appreciate if someone could make me a jersey

Yes! You're back! Good luck and a nice team, hopefully you can get some wins!

Thanks
Bennett has potential on this save also, but it doesn't look like he is going to much of a climber... |

Great to hear!
I bet I'll have to play longer than 5 seasons to win the Tour de France, so we'll see how it goes... |

STAGE ONE
Jack Bauer in the original break, but they get caught with 50 kms to go.
But as they get caught some riders counters, Jack follows
He takes the first Mountain sprint
With 15 kms to go, the break only had about 30 seconds on the peloton, but then De Waele attacks, and the gap is increasing.
With 3kms to go the gap is just over a minute, and a podium finish looks promising
Side-by-side in the last couple of meters
First race and first win! Unbeliavable
Sanderson got boxed in during the sprint, and finishes way back

PART TWO
STAGE FOUR
Bauer is really struggling halfway up the climb, but luckily the pace slows down and he is able to remain in the main group. Bennett was supposed to be his main protector, but fell off some kms earlier, due to sitting too far behind in the pack.
Surprisingly Bauer is still there after the second climb, which means he will remain in yellow tomorrow as well.
Iglinskiy wins the stage after attacking with 3 other riders in the downhill
Jack finishes in 8th

Great to see that you are making a story again, I really enjoyed following your last one! Good luck with an exiting team.
PS: Could you maybe give some info about what's going on "bhind the scenes", I'm thinkinh about new sponsors, and if maybe a scout has found a promising youngster? |

I'm not much of a writer so I don't think it will very interesting to read what is going "behind the scenes". However I will report IF there are anymore promising riders in NZ
Oh, and there won't be any new sponsor, as I will edit the contract length as long as I play, and I will also adjust the budget each year, to allow higher wages.
