Svam's Stages
Svam
Hi,

Some of you know me as a stage creator and a moderator on Cyanide's website. Actually I just got PCM10 three days ago. So, here are my first stages. Because a lot of variants have already been done, I choose to create some new stages for World Champs.

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/luxembourg.gif World Champs : Luxembourg City 258km

Spoiler
famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/cm_luxembourg.png

A circuit made for punchers with two climbs Burgerkreuz and Faiencerie Hill where the sprint takes place. 17 loops

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/belgique.gif World Champs : Ronse/Renaix 266km

Spoiler
famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/cm_renaix.png

Ronse is a famous city in the history of WCs, unlikely for Belgian fans. In 1963, there was the betrayal of Beheyt who took the title from Van Looy. In 1988, the favourite Criquielion felt in the sprint because of Bauer. The circuit is a fantaisy one but I was inspired by the 2007 Belgian NC and the 1988 WC. The finish is on the summit of the Kruisberg.

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/belgique.gif World Champs : Geraardsbergen 266km

Spoiler
famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/wc_geraardsbergen.png

This circuit is designed for the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen. In fact, there is two different loop. Riders take the first one ten times (Oude Steenweg, Parikeberg) and the Muur arrives only on the second loop for the last five laps.

Because of this construction, there is a bug in the profile page but the race is 100% playable Wink

If you want to see the chapel, you will need to install this pack.

Always nice to see more Worlds variants - and a cobbled one too, very interesting!

(And nice to see youve made the jump to PCM10 stage making now Svam)

A small step for me, a giant leap for the community ?

Well, in fact it's the opposite

Here is my fourth stage ( a WC again)

Barcelona/Montjuïc : Mes que un Circuit !

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/espagne.gif World Champs : Barcelona 262km

Spoiler
famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/wc_barcelona.png

The circuit is close from the 1984 one. The road winds up and down on Montjuich hill and, because of its shortness, the riders take for a moment the large boulevards of Barcelona. The circuit remains very short (11,8km), so there are 23 laps. The main difficulty is the climb to Castell de Montjuich while the finish is the same than in the 2009 Tour stage. High altitude change (+5000m) allows climbers to win as punchers.

Once again, you will need some IBs from the pack : https://gr4lfcm.fr...bjects.rar

To put in C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2010\3D

I have not decided yet which stage I will do next, so if you have requirements for historical editions ask me. I have access to a large range of circuits (some of them are only adptations as Barcelona) Wink

Montolivo
What about an WC edition in UK or some smaller nations like Poland or Russia? (if possible)

roturn
You could also do a timetrial course for all your WC`s.
The Barcelona one is stunning Banana

Of course. I started with two Belgian and one Spanish cicruits because there was a lack of editions in those big countries (most of WCs were in France or in Italy). I've got a race in Praha and I can take a look to Russia (just to see Kolobnev on a home circuit ^^ )

@roturn: Thanks for reminding me. I hope my zcts are enough to do the timetrials Embarassed

Update of Barcelona with a timetrial (48km). Two laps of the circuit and long portions of straight boulevards in Barcelona

Same link as the old one Wink

My next stage will be in Sotchi, Russia. But for the moment I'm making the TTs Smile

All the profiles are available in the spoiler boxes Wink

I finish the four TTs. All of them are around 50km and consist in two or three laps of the road race circuit. The links have been updated.

Can you make the World Championships of 2005 in Madrid? Thanks in advance Wink

Svam
Sad news : Sochi area is not covered by the dem files Sad
So, I'm working on Praha circuit.

@cuxu: I've got the profile so I can do it after Wink

cuxu
Ok, thanks Banana

My fifth world champs:

Welcome in Prague !

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/republique_tcheque.gif Championnats du Monde : Praha 259km

famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/wc_praha.png

The circuit is fully in town. The race explores two hills on the left side of the Vltava river : Na Vaclavçe and the Strahovsky hill, where comes the finish line, in front of the eponymous stadium. Riders cross two times the river and turn around the famous Charles Bridge.
My route : https://www.openru...?id=728426

The timetrial will come tomorrow Wink

Svam
Prague's champs are updated with the timetrial.

Next step, Madrid 2005 Wink

Revenge in Madrid !

www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/images/drapeaux/espagne.gif World Championships 2005 : Madrid 273km

Spoiler
famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/wc_madrid.png

I try to make the circuit the same as in 2005, especially the double finish line in front of Santiago Bernabeu. There are no real difficulties but three soft slope sections.

famille.bertrand50.free.fr/PCM6/bernabeu.png

My next and last world champs will be in UK. I finally find an interesting circuit there Smile

SportingNonsense
Will be interesting to see where youre placing this UK circuit!
