PCM.Daily Favourite Cyclist Contest
By: Mresuperstar
This is a voting style bracket game that will take place on this thread. Very basic and simple game yet fun to be a part of. Heres how it works, the bracket below lists match-up of cyclist 1 V. 1. (60 Automatic Qualifiers, and play-in matchs for the final 4 spots including a play-in with two riders voted in by you guys and gals.) And each match-up you can vote once. Leading up to the final match to decide PCM.Dailys favorite cyclist. And no harping on the bracket made it by their overalls on the PCM.Daily 2010 V1 DB. And rankings shouldn't mean anything because your votes are the only thing that moves each rider on to the next round.

Jens Voigt and Jens Voigt.
In fact, I declare this entire thing stupid simply because Voigt didn't automatically qualify. Dear god, Voigt should have a free pass to the finals. |

Interesting idea, but a few thoughts:
Why can our favourite riders only be the best riders?
It seems youve taken the 66 best riders, PCM stats wise, with just 1 spot for someone else. Perhaps it would be better to ask people for say, their favourite 5 riders. Give it a few days, then select the top 64 or however many, and do a random draw.
Alos, The way youve done the draws system as they are. Its set up so the #1 faces the #16. So following the theory that the 'best' plays the 'worst' in the first round. Except, by having the fourth #1 (Cavendish) against the only slot open to peoples choice, it gives him the hardest first round match of anyone.

Because otherwise the final would be an extremely predictable Talabardon vs. Blot

Not if the random draw places them in an epic first round battle

Ohhh... which side to take.
Talabardon vs Blot would be like 2008 pcm.daily guy vs 2010 pcm daily guy.
