Anyway, the news: Phinney will be a stagiaire for Radioshack later this year
I am so shocked. This I have never expected. Ever.
I mean seriously, Phinney hates Armstrong.

Deutschland Tour won't return in 2011. No interest from German television.
However, if thats the only problem, then it could return soon. German riders are starting to do better now.

Actually, when I posted I was thinking more along the lines of "It's now June somewhere in the pacific"

Excellent
Although, not sure that you can call it a 2 year ban, when he will be able to race again in 19 months

Hmm as it says he won't lose his vuelta victory, but if he really IS doped then they should remove like they did with Landis back in 2006...

I'm afraid they won't remove his results since they couldn't show that he actually was doped..

It says right here:
The decision will likely lead the UCI to strip Valverde of his overall victory in the Tour de Romandie and his second place in Paris-Nice as well as see him stripped of his position as UCI World Rankings leader.
And let's not forget about his third place in LBL and second in Pais Vasco. |

It seems that Piti will lose all he's won this year, and it's quite a lot: Tour Mediterraneen, Romandie, a couple of stages and podium in Pais Vasco, podium in P-N, and podium in LBL.
His results of past years will remain intact though.

On Velonews they said that he won't be stripped of results coming prior to the start of the suspension, which according to the verdict was January 1st of this year. So he will be stripped of every win this year, but not of his Vuelta win last year.
