each stage should be interesting judging by the profiles. Really great job by the organisers this year.
Didn't they take the Libere off the end when ASO bought the race?

This race is being aired on two off the channels that I have - can't complain about that at all |

I think we will see Valverde and Contador work together doing this race and maybe Contador will let Valverde win - if Caisse will give Astana a hand during the tdf? I hope some of the liquigas guys will be around, but I suppose Kreuziger and Pellizotti (if he isn't suspended at that time) will race Tour de Suisse.
Alpe d' Huez will be great!

Yeah this is my favourite 8 day stage-race because all the great climbers are there preping for the Tour. I think Valverde might have a shot but Contador is hard to beat. Of course that is assuming the race this.

As things stand this year, Piti will be riding the Tour, so I presume there won't be a repeat of last year's love in. |

I'm hoping the UCI won't let him ride.
Besides, the final verdict from CAS is expected any day now. Tomorrow, maybe? They said May and tomorrow's the last day of May.

I hope I'm not in the form to win it. If I am, I won't be good at the Tour

Nah, I'm sure Contador will find a fellow Spaniard to work for in the Dauphiné. That's what he usually does, but I hope it's not Piti this time.
Also, now Contador cares about form? He won a Giro coming from the beach, ffs. |

Do we not wander into Italy this year then, so Piti can't ride?

No, but the ASO says they'll take every one of their races into Italy. Even Paris-Tours.

If he was at the beach, i'm Mary *censored* Magdalene. He was climbing better than at the Vuelta where he said he was in the form of his life.

isso: Have you got some larger interesting reading about Contador's Giro and Vuelta 08? And when you mentioned watts - from where do you have these informations about watts - generally?
Anyway, this Dauphine should be again really exciting, like last year. I only hope that it will have some non-spanish winner.
