Tour de San Luis has only just finished, and immediately we move on to the 3rd HC Stage race of the season. The Tour Meditteraneen has got 2 crucial stages, that ought to decide things - the TTT on Stage 2, and final Stage 6 - which ends up Mont Faron.
The TTT is hard to predict until we turn up to it. Theres plenty of good time trialists here, but will they have the team to support them? Assuming they do not lose much in the TTT, then the 3 major favourites for Faron will be Schumacher, Monfort and last year's race winner Kirchen. Other riders here include the French El Al duo of Chavanel and Calzati (2nd here last year), Gerrans, Kiryenka, Larsson, Flugel, Niemiec, Clement and more.
We've got plenty of top sprinters here also. Sinner took 2 stages last year, and could see some French rivalry with Romain Feillu. Other contenders include Goss, Van Loocke, Hutarovich, Markov, Förster, Traksel, Giaux, Bozic, Guarnieri, and no doubt a few others too.

Indeed, i mean, my 2 most important riders are my only riders in the second part of the peleton ...
Smukulis even led the gap <.<

Traksel stupidly stopped sprinting, and so victory goes easily to Jurgen Van Loocke!

The Pokerstars juggernaut rolls into Europe They may even have half a chance of holding onto the leaders jersey for a little bit.
I note that Lego have a pretty decent TT team here, Schumacher is largely on his own with the UBS crew!
Here goes with a predo for the TTT:
1) Tinkoff
2) Pendletons
3) Pokerstars
4) Lego
5) Mercedes
6) Ikea
7) Bacardi
8) Petronas
9) Youtube
10) Highroad
Quite a longish one at 32 km timegaps could be interesting... |

I've always liked the Mont Faron stage. Its very fun to play. A bit like a tiny fun-sized version of a real mountain.
[off topic]
Smowz, you do realize that its really "predi", not "predo". Every time i see i want to say "there's no pedo's here!"
[/off topic]
Actually, had that TTT been an ITT it would be my favorite race to play in all of PCM for some reason.

Strange stage for Pirelli-Inter, since James Lewis Perry did amazing to end in top 5 but Hesjedal should had done more to sit in the first group..Loddo must also do much better than today!

Looking forward to another HC of my riders causing a bit of havoc in the peleton of much better teams. Good 3rd place to start things off, and i like Matteo's kamikaze blocking move to help us get there. But its probably all downhill from here with a TTT to come. |

have a mixed feelings....Van Loocke´s stage win is unexpectable and definitely absolutely amazing, on the other hand Clement was caught in bunch split and buried our chances for overall standings...2nd place in stage 2 is pleasant as well, maybe we could make even more (?) if Van Loocke would be better TTer and didn´t lost contact with his team mates

I'm hoping Perget can do something as i don't see Kirchen getting anywhere near a top 10 overall, shame of racedays :/. Goss might get a stage tough.

Great performance by Paolini and Bernucci, to get fifth and six is terrific for a team who's sprinter is really screwing things up...(Loddo)

Well, I couldn't keep that good luck forever. But still, I sent by best ttt team + bozic, moletta and vorganov, so I maybe hoped for more.
but maybe steve cummings will keep his place as my highest GC guy and finish in the top 10
