2 - There is DYN_cyclist_objective with gene_ilist_race ... I checked it and it's their season objectives - if I edit the RaceIDs there are they sure to race these races?
3 - There is DYN_cyclist_season with tick boxes for races ... but only very few riders in my savegame have some races ticked there, for most riders it's just blank - can I just tick these boxes for a rider and it works?
4 - There is DYN_leader_program. This might be the key - if I add races for riders there, are they sure to ride in that race or do I still have to edit some other columns?
5 - There is STA_roster_listraces. Not many riders in my savegame are listed, but e.g. Rodriguez has Pais Vasco, Amstel, Flèche and LBL. If I add something for riders there, are they sure to ride these races?
So if there's someone who knows how to do it / has already done it, would be great to share his knowledge.
Was frustrated to see Froome, Wiggins and Porte doing Paris-Nice together, to see Cavendish and Greipel there, to see Nibali doing Tirreno in 2014 etc.
And then a bit confused about the amount of columns and not sure if it is enough to edit one of the above.Edited by Leonoel on 27-05-2014 14:50
I have no knowlegde about the mentioned tables but I know how to do the exact season planning.
You can define the team rosters in DYN_team_race but I cannot guarantee that the game will not modify your editing later in the season.
Did you try the forum search for the tables and columns you mentioned?
Did you try google?
I never understood why people want to force certain riders to the certain races. The game is dynamic, so it tries to create a interesting career. Manually making certain races harder will just make others weaker.

I can understand it. PCM kept Nabali out of the TDF I just started. No injury, no better option for team leader, he just isn't there and with Contador injured. it has made this race rather boring at this point - stage 11. Would have been far more interesting to have them in the actual race that I'm playing rather than a few small races that I'm just simulating.
But the option to make certain changes like thatwould be nice and I don't see why you would be against someone wanting to tailor the game to suit them, isn't that why this whole website exists?
PS - Nibali was in the Giro, but it was as if he was in training, not much effort was spent there.

So you say the game should anticipate the injury of Contador and therefore plan Nibali for the TdF?
I am not against it, I just cannot understand it. Much effort is needed to do it correctly, I have raised one point and you raised another.
Basically it would require constant surveyance and editing of all riders in the game. Don't you think you could spent your time with more interesting activities?

What's your problem? Do you have some sort of personality disorder? I have read many of your comments in here and that is the only logical conclusion I can come up with. Total rudeness toward others for no apparent reason.
I suggested that it would be nice for the player to be able to adjust the starters for races, particular the bigger races. How would it be constant "surveyance" of all the riders to swap one team rider out and add another from another coinciding race?

I think he's saying that it would be nice to be able to change the other teams' starting riders in the editor, not that the game should necessarily plan for another rider's injury. I get your point about changing riders schedules, but it seems that some people do want to be able to make a change to some startlists to make them more realistic. Not a whole season, but just one or two big races.
Either way Slickster, that criticism was uncalled for. Lachi does a lot to help people with questions on this site, and it can sometimes be hard to work out what their problem is.

What I mean is: You have to stop playing the game before each race, check the rosters of all the teams, make sure that they all send fit riders, replace injured team leaders and make sure that they have fit helpers.
And if you swap riders, you have to make sure that they are not planned for other races during the same time.
Like I said before, if you want to do it perfectly and often, it is very time consuming.

He's made a DB reader, so what? That allows him to be rude to those asking questions here? I don't post here much, but I did read many posts and all I see him do is tell people to use the "Search function". Sometimes a question needs more information or different criteria than what was found in a search - or he could just answer the poster and get it all over with. I have seen many others assist AFTER he just writes "just use the search". You all worship this guy because he created a DB editor, go check the other Euro sites, there are two other very useful db editors.
And Lachi, thanks for the PM:
"I can also ask you what is wrong with you. You don't help at all. If I have a personality disorder, which is a serious illness, you must be a fulltime asshole attacking me like that. "
You have issues.
