Lavery set for extended lay-off
Rapha-Bianchi Racing Team's manager Phil Hoyle today confirmed that sprinter, and Caleb Ewan's right hand man in the sprints, Philip Lavery looks set to miss up to 6 weeks with a fractured arm.
The young Irishman fell awkwardly, following a crash at the Rund um Koln, and was unable to continue in the race. Early signs showed it was a bad incident, as Lavery required gas and air at the scene before being taken to a local hospital.
The injury means that he is set to miss the Tour of Estonia at the end of the month, and it will be touch and go whether he will be back to compete in the Irish National Championships in June

So many updates. 
12th for A. Yates in Madrid is a great result for him. Great win for Aru.
Koln wasn't a good race for the team and especially Lavery.
A good 7th for S. Yates in Lincoln, getting an even bigger lead in the Series.
Nibali is in pink way too early. Hopefully he can keep it until the end. |

@mvh: Lots of updates, as I have a couple of busy days with my girlfriend and family ahead. I wanted to really get going through the month of May, and head on into June for the National Championship and the start of the transfer season

@sutty: I have got the end of the Giro in my game, but going back over the stages, it is around 3'30 to Froome in 2nd and Scarponi now up to 3rd on GC but over 5minutes down on Nibali

@sutty: It is a Froome vs Nibali battle. Froome took time on Nibali on Bardonecchia stage, but Nibali took time back on Galibier.

Not many days left before June gets under way, and the transfer season starts.
We continue our season at the Coupe de France race of Boucles de l'Aulne-Châteaulin.
Linus Gerdemann will lead the team, with Simon Richardson, Dan Fleeman and Tom Southam offering support.
Trent Lowe will work as domestique in the race, whilst Damien Monier and Fredrik Ludvigsson will continue their build up to the National Championship races.
Remy Di Gregorio will return racing in France, as he himself will want to be at top form for the National Championships in 3 weeks time.

Team Goal: Top 10
Tony Gallopin (RadioShack-Leopard) took a fantastic victory, outsprinting the rest of his rivals in a uphill finish in Châteaulin. Laurens ten Dam (Belkin) finished in 2nd place, with Matthias Frank completing the podium for BMC.
Damien Monier came home 5th for Rapha-Bianchi, after he was caught in the last 500m following a late attack from a day in the breakaway.
