You don't think an excuse can be made for anything?
"Protecting the interests of citizens home and abroad and promoting the idea of democracy around the world."
But in all seriousness, Moscow, poor choice anyways
Like I said, we got plenty. Don't worry Russia, we have plenty of love (and nuclear fallout) to go around your cities. Moscow isn't the only target. You remember when we built them, don't you?
Like, who would be mad at us if we did it? Possibly the world, but I doubt it. We'll just threaten to invade Canada,. That'll get'm.

What part of total isolation do you think involves buying shitloads of gas from Russia?
When you isolate the kid, expecting to still be allowed to play with his toys is just stupid. In fact, isolation means not wanting to play with him or his toys at all anymore. Also, isolation doesn't come from one student, it comes fromthe entire school. Yes, Russia has gas. If one country only sanctions Russia, it will face the economical wrath of Putin and it will cripple that country. But one country can't isolate Russia. Again, then it's not called isolation.
What I am saying is that the only way to hurt Russia more economically than it could hurt us, is if the entire Western world would join up for one big economical and political blockade. Only then can you hurt it more than it can hurt you, by sheer numbers.
But as I said before, you won't get China on board, not to mention get all western countries on the same page, so it won't happen.

Sorry mate, but complete isolation of Russia would be the worst scenario ever. Nothing good can come out of it. It would only damage the people of Russia and Putin would become only more dangerous and pissed. We need Putin happy and calmed down, not mad!
Btw. isolation will never happen, because Russia is very important bussines partner...

That someone goes this mad could have been prevented.. 1991..
The West and the EU haven't really helped the former Soviet countries to get on their feet as all of them were pretty bankrupt and poor, even couldn't really feed their people.
Especially the EU would have needed to integrate Russia much more stronger into their ties.
Finally 1998 Russia was again in a deep crisis and Putin was 2000 elected and got Russia back on their feet, so I wouldn't really bet that in Russia the majority is against Putin. So I can also understand that much more people in Crimea want what the Russians have, more money.
Also it doesn't help that Russia had since a long time the "tradition" of one strong person who ruled above everyone else like a zar.

I always figured human beings did. I must be wrong.
God has made a special exception for us to be hypocrites whenever we want.
