Team time trials are especially intresting to watch. GC contenders hope their teammates can keep up with the opponents while the specialist-teams want to prove themselves. The course isn't that long though so GC ambitions will not be squashed yet. The sky looks cloudy but rain should stay out to give every team a similar chance.

Favourites are i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/ozc_zps749fc2f0.png Oz Cycling Project, who recently won the Duo Differdange. i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/tcs_zps625f9315.png Tinkoff, winner of the Trentino TTT and i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/jag_zps1b91f70a.png Jaguar are also mentioned.

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/jag_zps1b91f70a.png Jaguar - Eritel is the first team out. With Stannard and Tennant they have two outstanding timetrialists. Stage 1 winner Bibby is their hope for the overal and a good timetrialists aswell.

They pass the first and only intermediate check after 7'52. A good time it turns out as i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/var_zps06f2aa1f.png Vespa is 9" slower and i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/mei_zpsbbaf4141.png Meji even 21" back.

imageshack.us/a/img541/3885/mangame232.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/vue_zps51fdf35e.png Vueling Airlines have big hopes here for the overal. Dekker is perennial TdF podium contender but is now in the continental division. Apart from Dekker himself, they don't have any good timetrialists on their team though so limiting their losses will be the goal. They show real fighting spirit and are only 4" slower as Jaguar at the first split.

imageshack.us/a/img809/8808/mangame233.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/tcs_zps625f9315.png Tinkoff have passed the intermediate check aswell but their time was rather dissapointing. With 8 good timetrialists on their squad losing 10" on Jaguar must hurt. They are even slower as Vespa.

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/jag_zps1b91f70a.png Jaguar in the meanwhile have crossed the finish line. 13'12 is the verdict. That is 18" faster as Vespa, Cataldo will be happy with that I suppose. Meji are 18" slower as Vespa which is rather weak.

imageshack.us/a/img7/574/mangame234.jpg

The i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/CT/abc_zps288913e0.png Allianz team of race leader Dekkers only has 6 riders here. Losing the race lead looks unavoidable but their race is already a succes with Dekkers' win. 29" slower as Jaguar could be expected.

Vueling and Tinkoff in the meanwhile have crossed the finish line. Jaguar's time looks stellar as neither can even stay close to them. i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/vue_zps51fdf35e.png Vueling with a time of 13'39 which puts them behind Vespa. i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/tcs_zps625f9315.png Tinkoff is just faster as the boys in blue with 17" back on Jaguar.

imageshack.us/a/img62/3710/mangame235.jpg

Scandinavian teams i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/CT/vtf_zps1d97281a.png Vattenfall, i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/sbp_zpsa477b496.png Swedbank and i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/CT/reg_zpsf2e631b7.png Risa-Ergon have passed the intermediate check. They all have an average ride so far putting them in the middle of the pack. 16, 19 and 27 seconds back respectively.

imageshack.us/a/img404/7376/mangame236.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/mti_zps330e0e2d.png Metinvest has to go all out today with Popovych in their ranks. They should have a good squad for these team tests aswell and show just that at the intermediate check. They are 6 seconds back on Jaguar so far.

imageshack.us/a/img580/5753/mangame237.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/prp_zps2240497e.png Prio Porto has two good riders for the GC here. Plaza and Nicacio are good timetrialists aswell so they should do good today aswell. Maybe a top 5 is possible. Their start isn't great as they lose 15 seconds on Jaguar in the first 6.5 kms.

Allianz, Vattenfall, Swedbank and Risa have now finished so 10 teams are in. Let's take a look at the provisional top 5 at the finish line. Nobody's even close to Jaguar so far.

1Jaguar - Eritel13'13
2Tinkoff Bank - Rosneft OJSC+ 17
3Vespa-Aprilia Racing+ 19
4Team Vueling Airlines+ 23
5Meiji - Cannondale+ 37

imageshack.us/a/img822/9324/mangame238.jpg

The i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/csc_zpsbdf7f4ce.png CSC team has David Abal with them. Definatly capable of an overal podium, his team is only average on this type of terrain. That shows in their intermediate time as they lose 19 seconds on Jaguar.

That is only one second faster as the i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/rep_zps8fe99b28.png Repsol team that is here without any timetrialists.

imageshack.us/a/img13/1889/mangame242.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/vwm_zps2ffcd386.png Volkswagen is here with Keizer. They want him to perform well pushing for promotion. He is a great timetrialist ofcourse and that shows at the first check. 7'52 is the exact same time as Jaguar. The jury puts them on provisional second though.

More teams in the meanwhile crossed the finish line. Here are their times:
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/mti_zps330e0e2d.png Metinvest: 13'29
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/prp_zps2240497e.png Prio - Porto: 13'27
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/rep_zps8fe99b28.png Repsol: 14'01
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/rbc_zps9a8b3bfb.png Alstom: 13'35
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/pvl_zps0bcc4e74.png Pivovarna: 13'46
So Prio Porto take provisional second while Metinvest get in just behind Tinkoff though their time was the same.

imageshack.us/a/img42/8601/mangame239.jpg

Top favourites i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/ozc_zps749fc2f0.png Oz are now on course. The two Ford's are their best timetrialists here. They don't seem in topform though and set a dissapointing first split time. 8'03 is 11 seconds slower as Jaguar who still have the best time.

imageshack.us/a/img854/1732/mangame240.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/btc_zpse1fa0b09.png Bouygues are the last team out on course. Not really a great team for TTT's they try to defend their national proud. When the cross the line, all teams have finished.
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/vwm_zps2ffcd386.png Volkswagen: 13'40
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/ozc_zps749fc2f0.png Oz Cycling: 13'26
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/bin_zps9ee3c16e.png Bintang: 14'10
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/btc_zpse1fa0b09.png Bouygues Telecom: 13'27

Good times for Bouygues and Oz who finish really strong but still lose 3 seconds to Jaguar in the last part. Volkswagen and Keizer had hoped for more I suppose while Bintang is dead last with that time.

imageshack.us/a/img189/5271/mangame241.jpg

So i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/jag_zps1b91f70a.png Jaguar take a convincing win as Bibby retakes the leaders jersey. Their lead over the rest is really impressive over such a short course.
