De Lie involving himself is a positive surprise! Super happy to see him land a top 10. It is also encouraging regarding his season in general, if this means we can expect he will try to feature in the sprints.
Congratulations, ryant! Perfectly executed by Cullaigh. |

Commenting before I read stage 2:
Obviously a fantastic start for Rodenberg. He already accomplished what I wanted, which was to sneak into the bonifications on one of the stages to set himself up for a minor GC. Followed the right wheel and got rewarded, just like last year. Very happy with that. Hopefully that puts him in a good position with the epilogue now.
Only worrying thing is that SKA was so far back that he could easily miss a split. I want him in touch for a minor GC as well, so it worries me.

Strong day by Kemboi. Had the right wheel and delivered nicely. Well done. I need more like this though

Back down to earth from Rodenberg was expected. Seems like he picked a good wheel again but just didn't have the extra gear to actually keep up with Cullaigh this time. No shame in that at all in such a deep field, and certainly luckier than a lot of teams so far. As I said before, we just wanted to get in the bonifications, and we did that. Now I'd just like to get Rodenberg and SKA into the epilogue in one piece. If Rodenberg can luck into another result, even better.
Thanks for the reports!

Much better from Kooij despite being on his own. Too bad it wasn't a win. Another stage like this and we are set.

Team with best lead out set up has won the race after an unlucky stage 1, two more wins to come shortly

At least it can't get much worse? Gaviria's wage decreasing will make him easier to sell? There are other positives maybe? |

Our lead-out seems to be pretty decent, interesting to see Teutenberg second to last instead of Rickaert this time. Dainese should have done better from that position, though.
