Did you ever consider going full Curacao?

What rider from each division will surprise and have a great season? Alternatively, which rider from each division will have a disappointing season?

Thoughts on the tanking trend in PT?

What do you miss most about managing in lower divisions now that you are an established PT team?

Favourite rider you always wanted on your team during their career but never got them?

Which division is the "easiest" to manage within, along both axes of "avoiding relegation" and "competing for the overall victory/promotion"?

But my question:
What is your take about multilateral deals (B wants a rider from A, C wants a rider from B -> A and B swap riders, then C gets "his" rider from A) just to save on taxes?

I think the tax system shouldn't incentivize it and I'll die on that hill. But at the same time, I can't begrudge any manager for doing it while those taxes exist.

Maybe Ireland as I think it could be a much bigger MG nation if it had consistently had dedicated teams. I kind of went that way with ICL though. Could be sponsored by Kerrygold or something.

I've thought about it, as far back as considering replacing Danske Bank with Schlumberger in 2020. But I never really had the desire to suggest adding enough fake Curacao riders to make it viable. And I've ended up getting even more Danish along the way too.

Tend to agree with some others that the penalties for relegation from PT should be higher. Right now PT > PCT is a soft pillow and PCT > CT is catastrophic. But I like that people throwing the season make it easier for my team to survive. Pfft

Race selection. As a PCT team you have so many possibilities available to you and have to make a lot tougher calls in terms of whether to send your leaders to PTHC, HC, or C1 with varying fields.

I took a big swing at Dan Martin the year I got Kamna and Aranburu, and he might have saved my team from relegation in PCT, but in MG he wasn't a big deal for me. I ended up eventually signing a lot of my top guys in their twilight years: Guldhammer, Breschel, Lander, Galta, Haugaard Jensen, and now Pedersen and SKA. Maybe Ahlstrand?

These days I think PT is the easiest to manage in in terms of avoiding relegation and staying stable, both because so many teams are willing to tank and because you have a consistent race calendar to plan around. In terms of competing for the overall victory, maybe CT in the sense that if you truly go all in and are willing to forfeit the future for older and declining riders, you can get some decent scorers for the competition level for reasonable wages. No surprise that Jewa is the consensus favorite this season and by far the oldest team.

Great fun, reading all these Smile

What are your take on daily form and/or race crashes in the man-game?

SotD
Pretty fun concept! I have a few:

1) Which manager from each division do you think are the most likely to overperform due to being "good at the game" and likewise (more controversial perhaps!) which manager from each division do you think are most likely to underperform from lack of managerskills? It's fair to do another perspective on the negative task if you have another approach you are more comfortable with Smile

2) Which rider from each division with an OVL of 74 or below, do you think will score the highest - and why?

3) Which rider, now or in the past, that was never trained into a top top rider do you feel is the most wasted, due to not getting the proper investment during his career?

I don't think this gets talked about enough so I'll ask you, Which PCT riders do you think will be the biggest threats in their C2 races?

And on that note, if you had freedom to sign any riders from the DB (regardless of contract status or nationality) specifically for the C2 restrictions who would you choose and why?
