That one button on the shirt looked funky when scrolling past the image real quick
Interesting idea to make a SUM of the stats. Haven't seen that before

Gen 2 sees the next terrain successfully covered (in combination with Lagane). Add a capable stage racer and that's a more than solid PCT team.

@mre - Quinn's gonna have a great career here, but he's not Jorgenson!
@Eden - He should be entertaining!
@Sotd - Believe it or not but this is a family friendly team! Heines tool just does the average and sums for you, so why not.
@kandes - speaking of capable stage racers...
What do absolutely have to have on your team if you want any semblance of success at the higher levels of the MG? A stage racer, a good one. We believe in this fact so strongly we must have made inquiries with a good 1/3 of the game trying to find a way to bring one in, either directly or with some dastardly ins-and-outs for funds. This went poorly. Mostly we wouldn't even get through the door, and in some cases got as far as sitting at a table with a contact there only to have it fall through with ink dripping off the pen. So how did we do in making our crucial Gen 3 additions?

We'll start with Rafael Reis. This was a battle to get done, but we reign victorious. When needs must you go for a twice declined overpaid option, but he's a stabilizing element this team really needed. As with so much of this teams build, he won't be a stand out but should consistently deliver good points.
Hofftetter continues our surprising obsession with 75-77 sprinters (6 of them), but has versatility to support on cobbles and hills. At 50k he'd be great, at 85k it's another case of needs must as options thinned out. Livyns is an odd one at first glance, but he is the 50k minimum and usable as a domestique on basically every road stage going. This was a late pivot as we needed to get 50k on board to free us up for:-
Leemreize and Abdurrahman i'm counting together as getting one deal agreed allowed the other happen and visa versa. Both cost 400k, but Leemur (I can't spell and he likes to climb, so Leemur) is only a Loan In, so we arn'y paying that 165k wage, we're paying just 70k. Does 400k seem like a lot for a one-year rider, not really, if he was 32 with those stats and we paid 400k everyone would say good job. We needed a complimentary option for more MM focused events and Leemur does just that. Whilst Abdurrahman is just a great supporting option for Reis and could be a really good CT leader in a years time.
We had to really work hard to get this strong finish to transfers! But we pulled it off and feel there's a genuine chance at survival in place, whilst balancing against the threat of relegation and picking up a few pieces for a bounce back. This team is built for now, for the PCT in 2027, and the CT in 2027. Couldn't really ask for much more. Gen 3 is going to make the difference!

Something tells me Skerl's time in Hololive (team name is too long ) won't last for a long time
Gen 3 might be the strongest until now.

@red - BMF for short (badass m*ther fuckers!). Skerl will have a fun season and offer something useful, beyond that who knows.
To be honest, the response to Gen 3 didn't live up to our hopes. Not every innovation will be a success, and there were no issues on Gen 1 or 2. So we'll regroup and work to boost their numbers as part of a big group showpiece - our grand introduction!

Two good climbers in Leemur & Reis, backed-up in depth by Quinn, Abdurrahman, Strong, Arifin and Takape.
Spengler to lead the cobbles charge, backed-up by Kuroeda, Marte, Hoffstetter and Livyns.
The one-two hit of Lagane & Eriksson on the hills. And a range of stage hunters in Hopkins, Zhao and Norbert. Lest we forget White, Hasani and Cole as quality support acts with Skerl developing.
We're not forgetting Forbes & Putz who are off learning and improving their skills.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | XP | Age | Pot | Wage | | Forbes | 74 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 63 | 72 | 70 | 69 | 77 | 69 | 70 | 72 | 67 | 63 | 74.95 | 4.05 | 24 | 6 | 100000 | | Putz | 69 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 66 | 65 | 67 | 60 | 66 | 67 | 67 | 68 | 66 | 68 | 69.61 | 1.00 | 23 | 5 | 50000 | | Avg / Σ | 72 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 69 | 65 | 72 | 68 | 69 | 70 | 67 | 66 | 72.28 | | 23.5 | | 150000 |
No great spiel on this roster. We're very happy with it. Genuinely believe it's capable of survival, with a great base to build off in 2027. Or even if not, we can build a great CT roster in-house.
For me this felt like a whole new debut transfers, it's been so long since we were able to just go for it! I made some errors, got some bargains, and learned a ton. Can't wait to take all that knowledge into transfers number two in a years time. Now to re-learn how to properly do race planning when it really matters.
Bacharu Mamachari Faito! We're ready to show the MG everything we've got!

Completely missed that you got Takape! What a fascinating rider and you're a good team for them I feel. Zhao at 50k still one of the biggest steals of the FA market that I saw. Lots of interesting riders for sure and no major gaps along the way.
Feels like a lower top 10 placing to me, which is a solid place to be!

I think you will survive, and will be fun to see Spengler.
I also actually think Lagane will be good this year if you plan him well
One thing I find a bit funny is that you have a great leadout train, I'm just unsure if your sprinter will get a train...
Reis and Leemraize a fun climbing duo

Overall it looks like you've put together a pretty solid squad for this season with a lot of depth! I think survival is definitely in the cards. It should be interesting to see how Spengler does in the PCT as the division is likely a bit more suited to him than PT, and I think a 300k wage to get him from FA is not bad at all. Best of luck!

Absolutely agree this team has all the tools to survive! Having said that, I'd argue you're kind of unlucky to have your best rider as a cobbler, seeing how the depth at the top in the PCT is for that exact terrain. Having Spengler in the mix too, only adds to the tension and fun for us others to follow! |

I think you've made some sneaky smart moves done. Eriksson is gonna perform closer to his wage than people expect and be a great asset for you. Spengler at 300k is an awesome deal too. And with Forbes almost done, lots to look forward to.

I think you have missed an opportunity, to somehow do a crossover between PCM and Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Which, I allow myself to assume, you play religiously

@sean - Takape will be fun for a few years for sure, super useful to throw into races to fill race days but when max'd should be a cool breakaway option. Zhao was listed as the #1 steal by MG Expert SotD, so i'm happy we got a TT/PRL rider away from you
@Heine - I've planned Lagane (and Leemur and Reis) best I can, but i fear not maximised because it's the part i'm worst at. And yes, cool leadouts and no leader, but then i hope it means we get freedom to surf and snag points consistently in a range of places.
@Bush - I was more excited by Spengler until the Deals start dropping, but at least he's relatively cheap. Survival would be nice, my first consecutive PCT seasons of the '20s... hahaha
@ember - Spengler's up for the challenge! But i feel good he can be consistent in points, and then other parts of the team can make up for the potential losses. Why did PCT Cobbles suddenly become the most competitive part of the entire game?!
@bbl - Some really good deals found, wished we could have gotten a few more over the line. Eriksson could be great, and if he's good we've got him for a few years. Add Forbes and survival and out 2027 will be about gunning for the top-half of the division
@Dane - Before settling on Hololive, Cygames was my first thought as a sponsor Let me establish what Vtubers & Idols are, then I can branch out into the Horsegirls that are also Vtubers and Idols. This is a multi year sporting and cultural project! (the profile pic gives it away that yes I do play)

I hope you have enough sub-top leaders to secure you another year in PCT and will obviously cheer for you on the way despite still not knowing what your sponsors are about (my sister who's a bit more into Japan told me Hololive was some kind of TV series when I asked her about it ...)!

@kandes - Spengler was supposed to be a top, but well... We've got a good shot. And in terms of learning, see below!
@dave - I'd say more broad than deep. We've got a range covered but without tons of capability. Still, that's the plan, to try and keep pulling in points all over and see how far that gets us.
The Real Team Introduction: Part 1 - Family
You can see above the BMF roster for the season. We showed them off, have discussed some of the elements. But now we can do the fun part, the proper team introduction no-one was asking for! Who are the faces adorning our team jersey?!
大神ミオ
Ookami Mio
Uchi uchi, uchi dayo! Ookami Mio dayo! (Me me, it's me! I'm Ookami Mio!)
Gracing the front side of our jersey is my Hololive oshi (oshi is a japanese term for "favourite" ), Ookami Mio. The black-haired festival-loving shrine-protecting wolf (okami is japanese for wolf, ookami is great god, so it makes a good pun on wolf/shrine) takes pride of place, ready to be a focal point of any celebrations that come along this season.
Mio debuted in December 2018 and has gone on to rack up 1.35+ million subscribers on Youtube. Yes, I am a Mio-fam (name of her fans, simply the Mio Family). Mio was actually a school friend of Shirakami Fubuki (another Hololive member), and this helped lead to her debuting as part of Hololive Gamers where Fubuki served as the Gen-leader (Hololive usually debuts a handful of members together as a Generation, Gamers was the 3rd Gen, but not to be confused with Gen 3, i know it is confusing).
She quickly established herself as one of the "moms" of Hololive, with a broad caring personality and a talent to cook and look after others. Mio released her first song, "Howling", in August 2021. By June 2022 she surpassed 1million subscribers. December 2023 marked the release of her first album, "Night Walk", with a second album, "My Sparkle", releasing in August 2025 (this is my favourite of the two).
Other fun facts, Mio has two cats. She does Tarot readings. Mio has appeared in video games such as Azur Lane and Among Us. And she's just really cool and chill to hang out with as a streamer. Couldn't be happier to stick her as the focus of the jersey!
There is way too much to explain to give this music video proper context, but it's just a super upbeat jam. If you enjoy you can look up the Las Vegas trip to learn the context and references.
And yes, i'm doing this for all three of the jersey members.

I don't understand anything from your last post, but wanted to chip in and congratulate you on the squad you've built for the season. Did not keep track of your deals after our Lagane talks, but there's definitely reason to be optimistic around your survival chances, which, in all fairness, is of concern to me
Good luck.

Hoping Leemreize can do well for you. Him and Reis should be able to tackle all of the available mountain races in PCT (including PTHC). Think Lagane is a great asset even in PCT and I'm sure he'll meet MVD in a multiple races. Eriksson will too, I guess, but I don't really like the latter signing as he might end up blocking Lagane in certain races. Spengler is always an enigma but he has good support, including Kuroeda, another former rider Hopkins is so cool to have as a (former) regional talent!
