Obviously not quite as good as during his peak, but I was still content with the aggregate outcome. The idea was to secure enough points to avoid regulation with the calendar already planned around Ovsyannikov.

It would have been nice to see at least one standout result, but Polanc fell into that frustrating outsider role where he consistently spent too much energy on early attacks. That was maybe the right idea in the flatter parcours, but maybe we would've benefited from being a little bit more tactical in the hills.

Yes, very happy with what eventuated on our end - keeping the Danes in a Danish team was a nice bonus as well.
