Super cool rider indeed! 14 routes to consider might be some kind of a record? Will be fun to see what you actually decide on. With a love for cobbles, I'll always cheer for a 79 cobbles route, eventhough I'm sure De Lie and a bunch of others will disagree
Those were just the 14 most obvious alternatives I could find, there were at least 30 I would have been happy with to varying degrees!
I'm always a little dubious about how valuable a TTer is unless they're the absolute best, as there is less variability due to support stats compared to other terrains. But I will definitely seriously consider it, as I think there is a lot of value in a rider who is great at one thing and solid at almost everything else.

I had you down for #14 after what you did to the last versatile British talent
Ardila was a gamble but I wasn't realistically getting a similar level of climber at a price I'd be happy with. I don't love his support stats, but I think if he avoids hilly classics you can work around them - in mountain stages that come down to a group sprint he'll have the best punch, and with the lack of TTs in this year's GTs that could be quite valuable.
What a talent, congratulations. I'd choose the sprinter path
Well as we know I do need more sprinters, I only have one of the best sprinter talents and one of the best young sprinters already. Oh and a new signing to add to that...
Transfer Update #4
Thing have really slowed down now, but we've still seen another three arrivals and four departures since our last update. Having been trying to create cap space to make another deal possible, we accepted that might not be possible so instead moved to trying to create funds for training. This meant we let Alexander Hajek move on after only a short stint with us in a deal for a rider plus cash.
That in turn gave us what we needed for training if the other deal we were working on couldn't be completed for cap reasons. However, with only an hour to go before our deadline to clear the cap space we got an acceptable rider + cash offer for Jack Burke that enabled us to move ahead. And then following that big move we were limited by our cap space, so swapped out Kemp Orosco + cash for a stronger rider on a similar wage. Never a dull moment! Let's meet the new signings:

Joining us as part of the Hajek sale, we can't say that Jesse Kramer was a rider we particularly coveted. However, his team had just agreed to sell the rider we would have preferred in the swap, and we needed to make the deal work overall so we decided to bring him on board. If he stays with us he'll develop into a strong rider on the flats who can also sprint and cobble, though we suspect he'll move on next season if he's with us at the end of transfers.

Burke's departure resulted in a homecoming for one of our own homegrown talents, as Sachin Dulanjana made his way back to the team after many years away. We think he'll be a valuable depth scorer for us in stage races, which we need given our lack of riders who can climb or TT.

We've moved the deals around a little here to save the most exciting signing until last, with Eriks Toms Gavars the rider we signed in exchange for Orosco and a small amount of cash. We think he is an upgrade on Orosco as well as being from our wider focus region, and like Dulanjana think he will add valuable stage race depth to a roster that severely lacks it currently.

Our search for an additional leader has been a struggle throughout transfers. Herklotz, Wirtgen and Wurtz got too expensive for us in free agency, we couldn't compete with the best offer for Kudus, and we got outbid on Geoghegan Hart and Novak. Several speculative enquiries for other riders came to nothing, and that left Fernando Gaviria as the best available option.
We were unsure about going all in on sprints, and whether we should just train Peak further instead, but we couldn't turn down the chance to sign the best sprinter in the world for only 2.15m. He may only be with us for a year before then being sold to finance the (delayed) Peak training, but we hope he will give us a chance at PT survival. And if not, we should still have success in our goals given we planned them based on training Peak!
