I both envy and feel for you, in this renewal of your PCT adventure. Starting relatively fresh is such a challenge, particularly when ruthless, bad men like Heine and JT are also making the jump up. But I do love many of the pieces you have (Lagane-chan, Forbes-chan being the key ones obviously), and I guess the good vibes of TheManxMissile-san will lead many free agents to choose Bacharu Mamachari Faito! as their new home.
@SotD - Whilst a Japanese rider would be nice, i'm very glad i do not have to focus in at all.
@bbl - Less themed, just a happy coincidence. Just waiting for the Mariners to make history *cries in endless heartbreak*
@Booker - I do not fear Heine or JT (a phrase i'm sure to regret in short order), it is any PCT team that wanted to improve which needs to fear us and our buckets of cash! I'm going to enjoy Lagane a lot more knowing we won't rely on his points for success.
Breaking News
In an incredible piece of timing, there was major Hololive x Baseball news released since we last posted! On July 20th Hoshimachi Suisei will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the ZOZO Marine Stadium ahead of the Chiba Mariners vs Softbank Hawks game. And Hatsune Miku will also be participating across the game, to make this a true standout crossover of sports and otaku culture.
How, you ask, does a Vtuber - an entirely fictional computer avatar - throw a baseball? At this point in time, no f*cking idea! This has been backed up by Suisei herself who admitted in a livestream even she is not sure quite how it'll work. But I for one will be keenly watching.
The collab is brought about by Coolish, a Japanese ice cream snack that is odd but tasty on a hot day, and they are currently a range of TV ads featuring Suisei and Miku. The Vtuber's are slowly taking over the world.

Being confused by everything going on here I haven't actually commented on your renewals yet ...
That's really a brutal cut, but with the cap space left you should be able to add some nice riders to accompany Herklotz or Wirtgen
So theres a hologram that throws baseballs at a park in US, is that the hololive, i'm too old for this and i'm massively confused. Love the renewals though
To all the Millenials and Gen Xers of Daily, I want to say I also don't know entirely what's going on here Some surprising names not renewed for sure who I noted doing my first FA sweep, but you kept some awesome riders as well. Interested in the future of the project... on the road at least. Maybe I'll catch up with what exactly is happening in the HQ too at some point
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant." [PT] Xero Racing
@kandes - Do we go all-in on one great saviour? Hadn't happened before but it's a fresh start so who knows...
@caspi - Uh... yeah... still got no idea, but i'm excited to see what ever happens
@red - haha! (yes of course there'll be HQ updates linking to various songs throughout the season)
@jt - Prepare for Free Agency battle! The Hololive are the oshi's we made along the way.
@jandal - There were only one or two more riders I had an eye to keep, but i refuse to overpay as they will 100% go for less in Free Agency (some demands were astounding given the points not scored). Might drop in on the Xero transfer centre to swing some deals as well
@all - i'm trying to pop into your team HQ's and check our and comment on the happenings, it's just very hard to keep track of which ones i've done/not done. If i havn't left a note in your HQ i either hate you, or just didn't realise and still love you. You pick which emotion you want of those two.
Good News For Our Competitors
I'm not planning the way these updates are falling, it's just a well timed stream of related sponsor news in the run-up to the christmas time of the MG. We know transfers start in just about a weeks time, and the majority of managers will be glued in to Daily ready to get the jump on the competition and lock in those key early moves that can make or break a season.
Except, the staff here at Bacharu Mamachari Faito! (why did i pick this name...) have just a massive clash to navigate that could very well derail the teams rebirth before we even get started. A holiday? An unavoidable family gathering? Neither, the answer is much dumber than that.
Hololive are releasing their first official mobile game THE DAY BEFORE transfers starts. Other teams will have their spreadsheets open, their DM's open, focused hard on building the best teams possible. Here at BMF we'll be locked on our phones desperately re-rolling our gacha pulls until we get that 5-star Nerissa Ravencroft, and manically trying to learn the skills for a rhythm game, and just losing hours to exploring this all new virtual theme park world inhabited by our main financiers.
We've been tracking this games progress for months, and awaiting the confirmation on the release date which was rumoured to be August. It's a month early and slap bang at the time to cause maximum disruption. I could not time these breaking news updates better if i tried.
Hope everyone enjoys the week build up to transfers and the manic beginning where websites almost inevitably crash. As stated, we are rather distracted. But if we can keep confusing you all maybe it'll balance out and we still make a competitive team. Also this counts as our pre-prepared excused for when we fail to read the rules properly and overspend on riders and make bad transfers - yes, it's all a mobile games fault and not our own incompetence. (also it'll be available on Steam #ad)
We can introduce our first new members of Bacharu Mamachari Faito! It was a busy weekend with a lot going on, but these are the first waves of signings we got over the line. Or as they will hence forth be known as, our own Gen 1!

First up, Lukas Spengler. It's a new era for the team, but we have returned to our old ways of prioritizing the cobbles because we never ever learn. That said 300k we feel is good value from Free Agency for a rider of this caliber and even after a decline next year he could easily be useful or sellable. Saya Kuroeda represents our home nation, and is a good support to Spengler and usable in a leadout as well. 135k is a touch expensive, but needs must and he'll be a good two year signing.
Then a range of minimum wage signings. Jingbiao Zhao looks like a bargain given some current FA wages. Great little lead-out man and that PRL can snag some sneaky points too, alongside market presence in China always good for sponsors. Corbin Strong another bargain we feel, ok he'll struggle on long days but he's nice and punchy and just 26 meaning he can grow and contribute for years to come. Jone Takape is our refusal to grow and move on, but he's a cool climber we can max out this year and it's just kind of fun to have a Fijian on a bicycle alongside our Caribbeans.. Sebastian Putz isn't going to set the world on fire, but he's a pretty solid puncheur in the future the kind of which you love to have on hand as ready made support.

Putz is heading back out on Loan immediately, to the brand new Billstedt-Horn team in the CT where he'll reach Lvl3. We have also loaned out Nathaniel Forbes to the PT with Ekoi-Renault, where he'll reach 4.100 and return just in time to replace Spengler as cobbles leader.
Solid start! A real PCT level leader on board with some support, and a couple of other nice depth pieces with just a slight overpay on Kuroeda. Gen 2 will be set for an announcement tomorrow, as we continue to build out a squad capable of PCT survival.
