That's ... a start, I guess? But seriously, you have some nice riders to start transfers with and much room to go for back-to-back promotions - actually too much room for my liking, so hopefully you'll spend it all at Wirtgen

I'm claiming credit for this strategy. But you executed it better, actually keeping your mountain goat
You're going to have a ton of fun in transfers and also question your sanity as plans A-Z inevitably get ripped up.

Luc Wirtgen is a nice rider, but I think I can still have space for a talented puncheur after signing him
Why fight? Isn't it just better if you fight with others while I get my targets cheaply? Sounds like a much better deal

I think it is the best way as you naturally sit with rider that both demand more (after a nice season) and can't have the same positions in the team after promotion. You proved you can make a good enough squad to stay up after letting everyone go, and also got some great talents!

I think going the cap space route in renewals probably makes a lot of sense given the FA pool.

Spoiler Especially because it's easy to stay composed when we've got the cap to overbid you on any rider because we're in a higher division
Also you have to respect Renault for printing their logo on the inside of their bonnet, what a masterclass in PR!
Would be funny if you had all different PTHC bands so you'd never meet on the road

Could happen, but if it does we know it is because they fear this situation

A lot of cuts there
Certainly makes for an interesting transfer season for you with lots of moves to be made.

Nice to see Galta make it through the culling and get a nice cut! Should still be a nice secondary leader in PCT, though obviously much to do as far as leaders!

Avalability
During renewals we only renewed riders we wanted to keep for a PCT run, that means that none of our riders are going the get chased out the door, Still we are always willing to talk, and movement might happen!
Galta won the CT individual rankings last year and is the rider most likely to be leaving the team. He would be great in any division, he could be the main captain for a CT squad, one of several captains in PCT or a great 2-3 best GC riders on a PT squad (and a great GT rider!)
Thomas is one of our main french pieces and french TT champion, it is therefor very unlikely he will leave.
Kopfauf is another rider we plan on keeping, his prologue skills shuould be valuable again this year

When it comes to our talents we do not really plan to sell any of them, however with the change in focus that makes the possiblity of Tabarez and/or Gomez leaving more likely. They are both great future climbing domestiques who should fit on any team and level on very cheap wages. Wallenborn is considered a important future rider and we would be surprised if he leaves.
