It’s another big mountain day, which can still shake the GC. One cat. 3 (Port de Lers), two cat. 2 (Portet d’Aspet and Latrape), two cat. 1 (La Cre and Agnès) and an HC finish to the plateau de Beille across 160 km. No time to rest today.

A break of 6 has a one minute advantage as the Portet d’Aspet (cat. 2, 8 km, 6,5%) begins: Brenner, Gonzales, Poole, Theorpanous, Ivanov and Blackmore.

Indosat just took over the chase from Gjensidige and Hunter Valley. Blackmore is quickly dropped.
