Yeah, might on such a rider want to make him max at 77 while also lowering his hill by 1, or play around with potential. Mayb also lower flat even more, acc and res aswell.
Just thought some big stamina climbers could be interesting addition

Sam Maisonobe (born 8 September 2003) is a French professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Cofidis.

3rd in Tour de Gaudalope (and 2 stages), 2nd in Circuit du Mene, stage win in Isard, 8th in Japan Cup shows he has some good results in real life. Both FirstCycling and ProCyclingstats has him as a climber/GC rider and even though he has a stage win from a TTT I would suggest him more as a pure climber. Also as he is 2003 born I would suggest making him level 2 and a bit more developed. I imagine him kinda like a stereotypical colombian climber who wont TT and who it could be cool to develop with climberv2 for stamina. The problem is just that I cant find a starting point where V2 is better than others at level 2 :/
Again I have not done anything with the new stat gains

Might be too strong (maybe I'm in general suggesting too strong) but I pictured a strong climber with stamina, made for attacking for KoM thus hight fighting and downhill. 79 Mon might be too strong but I kinda saw him as a rider where you never really will be able to prioritize training as there will always be someone you wanna train before him.
I still see Climberv1 maybe as a better development, even though I would find it fun to try a high stamina climber like that. Hope we can get a rider like this added, maybe even increase stamina/Resistance and lower Moutain a bit. Say 2 lower Mountain and 2 higher Stamina, making him a 77/83 Mon/Sta or something interesting like that
think you already worked it out but this would be way too strong on new engine i'd only give someone that ST if you were lowering the starting MO to be 77 or under. or the other way would be to lower the HI a lot to like starting at 60 so that there's a significant disadvantage on another terrain
I looked at it a bit more, the new climberv2 would give him 80 in Stamina, but Stage Race would still give him 81. So I tried to make a suggestion a new go (and most likely jph and knockout will do totally different stuff than I suggest anyway, I'm just having fun playing around with it ) Changed him to potential 5 aswell as potential 6 really makes climberv1 stand out with the extra +1 in mountain on level 2->3 and 4->4.100

Climber v1 might still be most tempting but there is a clear tradeoff for getting the extra MM and Hill by giving away 4 flat, 4 Fighter and 6 Downhill. Stage Race would in my opinion not be an option with the worse Resistance, accuracy, fighting and downhill for in reality just a bit of recovery (I like that Stage Race is not as strong as before were it was often the no-brainer for climbers).
Here you would no matter the stat development chosen (in the climbing department) get a climber with strong stamina. Then you get flavor choices with Flat/hill and if you want to boost the "minor backup stats". I have no idea if higher fighter attacks more often (I like to believe it does) and how effective higher downhill is? If there is an effect a 6 or 8 gap should be noticable.
Even if Maisonobe is not added like this I hope we get some riders with this kind of thinking in the db. The closest we are today is Mamykin, Primozic, Gregaard, Carthy and Zimmermann and all of them would have higher Hill than this guy (and TT, Resistance and Recovery). Riders like this would have an unique feel that would be fun to play around with.
(Of course you could aslo plan long term my doing Hillsv1 and then train hills for 2-3-4 seasons just to get fucked over by PCM in the future when stamina is nerfed)

Just some thoughts about the French guys Heine proposed (although I doubt we'll get them all in the DB ...). All stats considered when maxed:
Magnier is clearly the French star of the class (maybe even of the entire class) and could actually even end around 80/80 in SP/ACC. I wouldn't mind if he also ends as a capable cobbler or puncheur on top, but I know this isn't about everyone's wet dreams (actually I know this thread is exactly about that and the DB team has to cool everyone down again ).
Gruel could be another hilly sprinter, but I can also see him ending with a statline like Madouas (who will coincidentally decline once Gruel maxes).
I'd see Loulergue as more of a puncheur domestique with around 71/74/75 in MO/MM/HI.
Isidore could end as a fighter who's also somewhat okay on the hills.
Faure-Prost as more of a pure climber is fine.
Boulahoite and Augé I'd consider as rather lower key additions if added at all.
I'm not convinced Maisonobe and Izquierdo are needed as late additions considering their real life impact.
Rouland or Boichis could be added at level 2 to end as a stage racing domestiques, but I think they're also more of a nice to have than a real need.
Huens as a good cobbles domestique with a flat engine would be a nice addition. He would fit in with the latest level 4 additions.

You (and others) most likely know more about those riders than me I just have to try to get enough that you don't gobble up them all
Looking at some more riders from Luxembourg to look at adding some domqstique type riders who are valuable but not crazy good. Specially the first one (Kluckers) I think just deserves a change considering he has just stayed in the db as a level 1.
Arthur Kluckers is already in the db but has never had a team, I think an upgrade would be deserved and he is born in 2000. Current stats at level 1 age 25 potential 5:
| Last name | First name | Flat | Mountain | MidMountain | Hill | TT | Stamina | Resistance | Recovery | Cobbles | Sprint | Acceleration | Fighter | Downhill | Prologue | | Kluckers | Arthur | 67 | 62 | 61 | 60 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 64 | 62 | 61 | 58 | 57 | 62 | 63 |
Kinda logical noone has picked him up, don't you agree?
https://no.firstcycling.com/rider.php...hp?r=76409
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...r-kluckers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_...r_Kluckers
With his results I would atleast make him a stronger TT talent with Jungels also declining he would fit well in the Luxembourgian sphere. Considering his age and keeping him at Level 1 (to fit a bit with mangame history) I would suggest him ending up quite high in TT as he will not be trained (unless someone is crazy)
My suggestion:
| Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | Old Kluckers | 67 | 62 | 61 | 60 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 64 | 62 | 61 | 58 | 57 | 62 | 63 | | New Kluckers | 68 | 60 | 64 | 69 | 69 | 67 | 67 | 64 | 69 | 63 | 65 | 69 | 62 | 69 | | Time Trial | 75 | 60 | 65 | 72 | 78 | 72 | 74 | 71 | 69 | 63 | 65 | 74 | 63 | 78 | | Track-TT | 75 | 60 | 64 | 70 | 78 | 72 | 72 | 71 | 69 | 68 | 68 | 69 | 63 | 78 | | Fabian | 75 | 60 | 68 | 72 | 76 | 74 | 72 | 67 | 77 | 64 | 68 | 70 | 63 | 76 | | Classics | 75 | 60 | 67 | 74 | 69 | 74 | 71 | 67 | 76 | 67 | 70 | 77 | 63 | 69 | | Fighter | 76 | 63 | 67 | 72 | 73 | 72 | 72 | 69 | 73 | 66 | 72 | 78 | 66 | 73 | | Hillsv1 | 71 | 63 | 71 | 77 | 70 | 75 | 71 | 67 | 69 | 68 | 72 | 74 | 65 | 70 | | Hillsv2 | 71 | 61 | 73 | 76 | 72 | 72 | 74 | 68 | 69 | 67 | 72 | 76 | 63 | 69 | | Stage Race | 71 | 69 | 69 | 72 | 74 | 74 | 72 | 71 | 69 | 63 | 66 | 70 | 63 | 74 |
Thinking of him mainly as a cog in a TTT team, but with some posibilities. You can either make him as good in TT as possible who will make him a nice TT rider with Flat and hills while his backup stats are not that good, or you can decide to make him a TT/Cob support rider with Fabian, or even a puncheur (though I prefer the other options). Wanted to give him low Mo to not make Stage Race attractive and same with a lowish sprint. If he was my rider I would consider Time Trial or Fabian and in the end most likely ending with the versitality of Fabian.
He will be 26 starting next season, thus maxing out at 29/30
Noé Ury born 16.10.2003 is another young Luxembourgian
https://firstcycling.com/rider.php?r=...p?r=154533
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...e-ury/2025
Not a lot of great results for him, mostly his top results are in the Luxembourgian NCs, I think he could be a nice add as a general domestique type rider with potential 4

Thinking here is a rider that can be made into pretty much anything while not having a main stat (Mo, hill, TT, Cob, Sp) over 75. The kind of talent that you can develop to fill out what you think is needed and keep as a 50k option forever while never being a world beater.
I like the fighter/rolour option that would make him a bit of everything with a good FG stat, but I'm quite sure someone would like both Track-TT/TimeTrial or Hillsv1/v2. Or maybe even Stage Race or cobbles? It will be up to the manager who get him. Anyway a fun rider type
Pol Breser born 12.06.2003 is another young Luxembourgian who I find cool at 197 cm height (procyclingstats)
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...pol-breser
https://no.firstcycling.com/rider.php...p?r=154536
Don't think we can call this guy a world beater, with his best result according to Procyclingstats being 26th in Ster van Zwolle other than NCs. With his height I see him as a Flat / leadout rider. Also as I put on another post there are only 1 sprinter and 1 leadout rider from Luxembourg and they are both declining.
Suggested:

Again I think making him nothing spectacular but just a good leadout rider with good flat
When I just google "best cyclist born 2004" AI states that this rider is the best one. Seems to be taken from this article (https://cyclinguptodate.com/cycling/l...r-of-birth) from 2023, but hey? With the mangames history of African riders I think it would be a fun add
Aklilu Arefayne, born 07.06.2004 from Eritrea. A cycling nation with a proud mangame history.

Former African and Erirean ITT U19 champion, 2nd place in Eritrean NC 2024, 3rd in Eschborn-Frankfurt U23 2023 whats not to love? With his TT palmares I think we can move him somewhat towards TT and maybe also give him some climbing? In a world where he has grown up watching Kudus win TDF its not unlikely he would try to become a GC rider?

Might be I'm suggesting him too strong, but just looked like fitting into the Eritrean fold with Kudus having his last max year next season and Berhane/Aman is not talents fit to grow into a leader position while (other than Girmay). You could elect to make him a stage racer or a TT monster. After all, google said he was the best rider born in 2004...

I'm going to suggest some Portuguese riders because I'm considering expanding to include the country as a secondary national focus next year and many of the current workable riders are either entering their 30's or declining.
Antonio Morgado
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...rgado/2025
Probably already on people's radar, but would be good to add as an all-rounder with most significant potential in 1 day races/hilly classics. Has a decent sprint and TT ability as well having won elite TT nats the past 2 years.
Afonso Eulalio
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...so-eulalio
I would suggest adding at level 2.0 or 3.0 with potential to develop into a mountains lieutenant in PT/PCT or stage race leader at the CT level.
Nicola Schleuniger
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...niger/2026
Sprinting talent with best result this year winning the points jersey at the Tour of Bosnia, though last year with various other good results in smaller races in bunch sprints and hilly one day races. Could be good to have as a prospect to develop into a leadout man.

Since Gojkovic was already suggested I'll add a Serbian: https://www.procy...jlo-stolic
Nothing special either a solid TT rider or a lead out sprinter.

Slovenians (2005):
https://www.procy...nze-ravbar
https://www.procy...aka-marolt
https://www.procy.../zak-erzen
With the Slovenians all the notable riders are actually from 2005, but I think Ravbar and Marolt aren't anything special so maybe one of them can be added this year so we can stagger the talents a bit more. Erzen is probably a lot better so he should wait until next year.

Ravbar is a rouleur so I think he could take the place of Katrasnik in the DB since he'll already had declined by the time Ravbar is maxed. He won the 2023 Junior European Championships RR with a late attack to hold off the sprinters so rider type mostly fits I think.

Marolt is more a puncheur/climber with his best results seemingly coming from shorter uphills or reduced group sprints. He's probably just an okay helper at the CT level and a breakaway rider in PT/PCT.

Another option would be to add Stajnar as a 26 yo level 4 rider. Somewhat of an all rounder, but more stage race/TT focused.

Roman Ermakov is now technically Slovenian? I think it's best we keep him as Russian

Not sure if I really need to mention him, as he should get added anyway, but still:
Jan Christen
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...sten/2026/
Without any doubt Switzerland's greatest stage racing talent since... the 1950s? (not counting Alex Zülle, because of reasons...)
But not only stage racing, he's also pretty explosive and aggressive, which helps in getting some good classics results, too.
Otherwise, unfortunately it's a really weak year for Switzerland. Schleuniger has been mentioned by Bush. Miro Schmid would be just for fun, because having Mauro & Miro would confuse reporters - and because it's his birthday today ^^
Jonas Müller had some good results in minor races last year, and Livio Stefani has 2 wins in national races this year - but all of them might need some more years to make an impact at PCT level at least...
And for the fans of micro-nations, there are even two riders from Liechtenstein born in 2004, maybe one of them could be added as well... They are Flavio Knaus and Romano Püntener.
Sorry for not giving any stat propositions, but if you take any of those minor riders, just make them fit in the DB. And Christen of course should be quite a bit better, not as good as the likes of Del Toro, but just a tad below. If realism matters anyway ^^

I vote for adding Miro Schmid! Having pairs like that is just down my alley

Besides Aklilu Arefayne from Eritrea, we could also add Yoel Habteab. I'll suggest a sprinter with high recovery, but whatever you think fits:

Athit Poulard changed nationality from France to Thailand for this season and directly won both national championships and also did well in some other races. It seems like he will be by far the best Thai rider for a while. I hope his addition to the DB will reflect that. He is born 2003, but wasn't added last year, so I suggest to add him with lvl 2. That also helps to have him with some stat combinations that reflect his skills.
I also included some more suggestions. In some cases, I also tried to also create some stat combinations we currently don't have that much in the game.

For the love of God. Michael Leonard has been on the World Tour for the last 4 years and has a contract signed until 2028, can he please the an actual PT level rider that isn't a one dimensional TT rider.

Wanted to suggest this type of path for a couple of riders but think this makes a lot of sense for Leonard (also slightly biased because Canada never got a GC talent in MG era for either RBC or Specialized)
Thinking if you make him LVL 1 POT you stop the temptation to turn him into a pure TT rider as theres no TT gain from one to the other

Late to the game but here some suggestions for my focus:
#1 is a Japanese Sprinter with decent PRL skills, can be a good CT Guy for those and a nice support for highter Divisions.

Gustav Lovidius is the younger brother of Edvin and despite riding for a club team, he has won the UCI race Sundvolden GP and also NAT race Kinnekulle Energiloppet this year. He is described as a fearless racer with an aggressive approach. So, while it appears that he excels the most as a puncheur, I believe a stat range like this would be fitting:

Definately agree that he's up there, but:
