Stage 9 was a mountain stage where the big gc guys went to battle while the break did not play a big role in the results.
Kandesbunzler correctly predicted that scenario and wins the stage with a strong 109 points after predicting seven top ten finishers including a unique Gee-West (50) pick. Ulrich, Nemolito and Imladrik also had at least five correct picks to finish third to fifth while knockout has just two correct guys - Vingegaard and Eulalio. But Eulalio was worth 60 points and rewards him with the second place on the stage.
On the other end of the daily results is Dane who went all in on breakaway candidates and misses the top ten completely.
