With season end potentially 2 races left for the PCT teams we have most of the positions set. We can pretty much congratulate Ekoi - Le Creuset with being champions after a fantastic season! Going into the final day 221 points ahead of nr 2! An awesome season for the French team
The battle for 2nd place is a lot tighter, with Bolt - Eesti being 27 points ahead of Assa Abloy who are 2 points ahead DK Zalgiris. Pretty much any of them can take 2nd with a good result on the last day. Last secure promotion spot belongs to MOL Cycling Team. No real threat there and 5th should be secured for them.
With disbands it looks like top 7 will promot and Specialized currently holds 6th while a fantastic South Africa has taken Hunter Valley Cycling into 7th. Close behind (2 pts) however we find Lotto-Caloi. Can they find the strenght to move into top 7?
Ignoring the middle of the table we move onto the relegation zone where 3 (4 teams) are pretty much relegated. DeNA Roadstars most likely knew it before the season started, while IESE ProCycling Team has been in the same situation for a long time. I also believe I have declared Simba Cement - Tanga Fresh as relegated in an earlier update.
At this time I believe we can also say that Colombini Kometa will be a CT team next year. Too much money on Del Toro most likely sealed their fate. The last relegation spot however is "up for grabs" as just 8 points makes Sauber Petronas Racing safe as of me writing this, with JEWA TIROL hopeing they can find some way to grab those points and have another season in PCT. This is like a relegation battle in Premier League where there is a lot of money on the line for the two teams!

PCT Ranking Update Pre-Final - Individual
Just a quick update here with Bryan Coquard taking over the top spot, as I have not checked who will race the last races I will not quess who can climb, but here is the top 20:
The division title looks reasonably safe, but there's still a race to go (etc.) ... actually the gap is even 250 points which means Zalgiris would essentially need a 1-2 plus probably some depth to still have a shot. With Bolt and Assa Abloy both done for the season I'd say Zalgiris are the favourites for 2nd, but MOL is also still in the mix.
The fight for 7th (and the final promotion spot) will be tight, both Lotto and Hunter Valley have a decent enough option for Emilia and I wouldn't count out McCormick as well.
At the bottom Colombini is done (I've seen their Emilia lineup) while both Sauber and JEWA have a shot to stay in, at least if De Bie finally delivers.
I'm just glad I don't have to report Emilia and potentially keep track of all those close fights
If Lutsenko doesn't crap the bed, then 2nd should be safe. Not that it matters other than world rankings, but would be cool to have two guys in top 10. Which I imagine will be quite difficult with the two fellas ahead of Lutsenko
Coquard back on top! I think he has wrapped it up but honestly I have no clue who still has RDs. Anything can happen on the final day of the season!
Happy to be mid field and finally go into our 2nd season in the PCT. Time to really consolidate our team and try and move forward closer to the PT. Especially with Carlos Rodriguez maxing. We are extremely excited to see how he goes. No training for him this off season but that will have to start the following off season.
Thanks for the update Heine! And keen to see you up in the PCT along with us next season.
