A flat PTHC classic means the sprint competition will probably be too strong for Rajovic, so our main hope is another successful late attack with Katrasnik or Quispe in there.

Without a proper prologue specialist or a high profile sprinter we should aim for the breaks here. We have some good options for this task.

The combination of tougher hills, an ITT and a TTT could make this one of the best suited races for APP who should aim for a GC top 10 at least. He has every support for that.

We worked at the front of the peloton and Zepuntke showed this wasn’t for nothing as he was active in the finale both in attacks and chasing. He paid for this by just missing out on the top 10, but then it’s been a wildcard race and we had the fun we looked for.

The first stage was rather anonymous, but Rajovic managed a 6th place in the sprint nonetheless. Stage 2 saw a winning break, but our rouleurs didn’t join it and so we missed out on this one. Stage 3 was hilly and our entire team decided to call it a day and lose 4+ minutes. Stage 4 finally saw us joining the break even with 3 riders, but this one was less lucky and brought back early. The final TT was kind of pointless for us after the race so far – and we were proven right with all our riders missing out on the GC top 50 in the end.

We came here with the sponsor goal to achieve a top 10 – and we spent most of the transfer season to sign a fitting rider until we got Küng. He actually did what he was signed for and finished 10th, but we could have saved ourselves the hassle as our home-grown Louvel did even better in 7th. So we hope our sponsors (and the MGUCI) are also double happy!

The prologue was a good one with Ranaweera among the better GC riders and Vauquelin taking the white jersey. Stage 2 was one for the sprinters and finally Rajovic was able to take profit from a rather weak field and his great acceleration as he wheelsurfed to his first win for our team!



Stage 3 was the first of two hilly ones and with all our GC riders finishing in the lead group it was what we could expect. Ranaweera even participated in the uphill sprint in stage 4 and came in 5th there, setting him up well for the decisive MTT stage 5. He did as we hoped there, finishing second in the stage and taking the GC lead by a mere second. Our youngsters Garibian and Vauquelin did also well and both took top 20 positions in the GC as well as a 1-2 in the U25 competition. The last stage was a flat one so we ‘only’ had to avoid some late shenanigans. We could well live with the break taking the stage win as we took the GC in the end! With lots of minor scoring from all classifications on top this race ended as a full success!

It’s another PTHC hilly classic and APP had his ups and downs against this kind of competition this season, so it just remains for us to hope for the best.

It’s Ranaweeras final race of the season and we hope for another GC top 10 from him as well as possibly a weaker sprinter field so Rajovic can shine in his last outing for our team. This worked really well in Japan, but without any TT much will depend on the startlist here.

Five hilly stages and a TTT – it’s no surprise who’ll be leading us here. APP has the best available support cast once again to get us some stage results and a nice GC result in our final stage race of the year.

The classic PCT season finale in Italy sees once again APP as our leader. It could end anywhere from a zero-pointer to a podium after his classics results this season, so let’s hope we will have a strong final race of the season!

The race started with a TTT and the team showed one of our best ever performances in one of those, finishing in 5th losing only 6’’ to the winner with no GC riders dropped. Stage 2 was a flat one and so it ended uneventful for us. Stage 3 was rated hilly, but with a steep final climb Ranaweera actually achieved a stage podium and rose to 2nd in the GC before the only mountain road stage of the race. He finished 7th there and lost some crucial time, dropping to 6th in the GC with quite some gaps both upwards and downwards. At least we took over another Garibian-Vauquelin 1-2 in the U25 classification. And the time lost from Ranaweera hurt even more as he actually won the following MTT! This was a historic result for us as it’s our first ever TT win, also catapulting our leader into 2nd in the points classification and 3rd in the KoM rankings. Küng in 8th of the stage was another nice surprise.



An uneventful last stage (at least for us) left us with 6th in the GC and combined with lots of points from everywhere else it accumulated to another strong race, scoring more than 200 points once again.

Roosen went into the break which had no chance at all. Quispe was dropped early and finished last. APP came in 17th against strong competition. Nothing to write home about really.

We came to this race with no real expectations at all (we just put it in our calendar hoping for a late prologue specialist signing). The cobbled sectors in the prologue actually set up some surprise results with Louvel in 5th and Küng in 9th of the stage and a provisional 3rd place in the team classification. The remaining four stages were about the sprints: Rajovic finished 9th, 15th, 16th and 6th.

We came here with high hopes for the GC, but the stage 1 TTT was a bit of a bummer as we not only finished down in 9th but also dropped APP to lose some additional seconds. We entered stage 2 with APP as favourite for the stage win and not only contributed in the chase, but also set up our first sprint train of the season for him. And it really paid out as he dominantly won the sprint in the end, propelling him to 2nd in the GC and the points lead. His leadout Küng finished 5th in the stage on top.



The next stage had a similar profile but this time APP finish just outside the top 10 in 11th with Akhmaevi even ahead of him in 9th. The stage 4 TT saw all of our riders lose quite some time, so it all came down to the final two hilly stages. And APP delivered like we only could hope for in stage 5. After following the decisive attack he took over the lead in the final km just to never lose it again, netting his second stage win in the race and also taking over the GC lead!



The final stage was all about defending the GC lead and the team achieved that in style with Garibian, APP and Küng finishing in 2nd to 4th in the stage. In total it was another great race for us with a long list of results and a huge amount of points.
