Chrono d'Arenberg
Imladrik
The peloton is back in France for the Chrono d’Arenberg. A 31 km time-trial on the infamous northern paved road which make Parix-Roubaix the race it is. But no Vélodrome today, only grinding.

The organizers think the time-trialists will win this.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/tlt.png Moulingui is the first cobbler to finish. He’s terrible on the TT bike though, and finishes provisional 4th, 5’46 behind pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/min.png Dressler’s 39’10.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eko.png Zepuntke is both better on the cobbles and the time-trial bike. He does indeed better, but is still 43 seconds off.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327193321_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/rab.png Gerts is overcome by pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/fas.png Van Hooydonck. The Dutchman is 1’57 off, while the Belgian takes the hot seat: 38’08.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/elc.png Stavrakakis has a nice balanced skillset for this race. He’s 1 minute faster, at 37’08.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327193631_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/iec.png Verona (+2’09) and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/lpu.png Siddikov (+1’15) are more time-trialists than cobblers and do fairly well.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327193730_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eav.png Tanfield isn’t good enough for this race. He loses 1’14.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327193857_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/spz.png Kasperkiewicz could be considered another favorite today. He’s 36 seconds off though.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194034_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eko.png Louvel might one day be one the stars of the discipline. He’s provisional 2nd, at 33 seconds.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194215_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/elc.png Cavagna can’t compete, at 59 seconds.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194259_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/lpu.png Gamper is the next to take provisional 2nd, still 25 seconds off.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194347_1.jpg

Could the Belgian champion win today? pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/gct.png Van Moer takes the hot seat: 37’05.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194428_1.jpg

He doesn’t stay on it too long: pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eav.png Lampawog was 4 seconds faster at half race, and he improves that by finishing in less than 37 minutes: 36’58.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194520_1.jpg

But pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/akm.png Anderberg is coming. He gets 18 seconds faster, at 36’40.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/gzl.png Leknessund is among the pre-race favorite, though he’s not a great cobbler. He’s provisional 8th, at 1’06.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194759_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/znf.png Vernon is 5th for now, at 44 seconds.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194916_1.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/pol.png Mullen loses time in the 2nd part, he’s out of the top 10 and loses 1’08.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327194943_1.jpg

The world champion is last to go. He loses 20 seconds at half the race, and will probably further down. Indeed he ends 12th, at 1’08.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/Arenberg/20260327195025_1.jpg

Anderberg is today’s winner!
