Cool to see the breakaway win for once, not so cool because we were not in it and Kamberaj finished outside the top ten as a result. At least all the important riders didn't lose time

Einhorn's been doing really well in the sprints here, just a shame we didn't have a strong enough team to chase down the breakaway for him on stage 2

Oyeah, exactly what I wanted from Renard (that and late attack).
A shame we don't take the stage, but yellow is a nice consolation.
Very exciting report, thanks Alex!

Only just realised we were here with Lvyens in the break
This was a filler race for us gives Gibbons a small chance for stage points and Maccagli might get some GC points at the end otherwise breaks like this are our chance and good to have a few point in the bag already |

A solid performance from Conci to be in the Top 10 and put himself in a good place going into the final stages. He should be favourite for a Top 3/Top 5 from here. Cosnefroy with no such luck to stay in the leading group but it just means the team focus switches to Conci

Very good stage result, but almost a worst of both worlds scenario for the GC with Brunel dropped but the gaps not big enough to benefit our puncheurs. Fingers crossed we can get a top 10 for Brunel and a top 20 for Errazkin from here, but think a lot will depend on daily form. |

So far, so average. An excellent result on day 1 for Willwohl. Not so good to get caught out in the split on stage 3, leaving none of our guys with real GC hopes. This was expected though so can’t say I’m too disappointed or upset. Thanks for the reports though Alex!
