Switching it a bit up from how I have usually done this I will start at the bottom and work our way up to the top teams. That of course makes us able to present DeNA Roadstars first! 148 pts this month with 93 of them coming in Benelux Challange. That makes July their second best month and Benelux one of their best races of the year! IESE ProCycling Team follows suit in 23rd place scoing 116 pts this month with Andorra being their best race with 96 of those. I am afraid we can say that it will take an Herculean effort for one of these teams to not relegate. To finish off the bottom 3, considering it is the same as last month, we got Simba Cement - Tanga Fresh. A better month for them with 115 pts from Benelux and 62 from Lithuania. Still not enought to take them out of bottom 3
JEWA TIROL is the first team to fall a place this month going from 20th to 21st. An absymal month for them with only 48 points... I wont mention any races as there are not alot to be happy about. Stealing past them was Sauber Petronas Racing who are up to 20th, but with more race days used I am afraid they are still very much in the "likely to relegate" category. 84 points in Andorra and 70 in San Sebastian their best scores this month.
Managing to stay right above relgation zone we find Colombini Kometa who keeps their 19th from last month. A great Benelux with 246 points the big headline! Right above them we got a team falling 3 places into 18th in Zwift - Newton Foundation. Might not be so strange considering their only race was Andorra? Making July their worst month this season. Right above them, rising 1 place this month is Everesting with scores in Lithuania and Andorra giving them a total of 256 this month.
Duvel-Tsingtao stays in 16th after getting 291 points spread across the month with most of those in the HC Andorra. For a newly promoted team I bet they are quite happy here. Right above them is Spark Team NZ in 15th, falling from 12th with only a total of 135 here with Benelux being the strongest race. Then we have Tryg - Eni who with a total of 247 points manages to stay in 14th. I would say the scores in Benelux and Lithaunia is what keeps them above Spark and Duvel.
The worst team in July was (among some, ehm, weak competitors) was Hunter Valley Cycling who falls from 9th to 13th scoring only 27 points, all of them in the last race of the month. I bet the manager expected a bad month, but 27 just looks bad... Minions was in the fight for worst July with their 65 points, helps them that they races 2 races even with poor scores in both. They fall 2 places into 12th.
That takes us to one of the big risers this monbth with the 4th best month we got Bralirwa - Cegeka with 518 pts! Considering all the points are from 3 races (with 282 in Benelux the biggest) that is a great month! Not as great a month from Assa Abloy who gets 189 points and falls from 7th to 10, making them the first top 10 team in this update!
Another big fall is Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team, they join the battle for worst team of the month, but actually manages to only be the 3rd worst. That fits a bit with them falling from 3rd all the way to 9th. This is a big proof that we got a tight PCT this year! You can't afford to have bad months if you want to fight at the top. One of the teams going past them and into top 10 is Trans Looney Tunes, they had a great month just too bad they don't get points from TDF... Still going from 11th to 8th is good with Andorra the big race! In front of them we have a team rising even more with the best score of the month of 661 points! McCormick Pro Cycling shows that they are serious this season with great races in both Benelux and Andorra taking them all the way from 13th to 7th!
Even with a strong Lithuania DK Zalgiris falls from 4th to 6th, right outside the normal promotion range (thought rumours have it that there might be more promotion spots...) 204 of the 252 pts scores comes from Lithuania. One of the teams moving past them, going from 8th into top 5 is the pre season favorite MOL Cycling Team. They were one of the strongest teams this month with 536 pts, 282 of those from their win in Andorra. In 4th we find Bolt - Eesti who also had a strong month. 485 points with strong scores in both Benelux and Lithania takes them from 6th.
Moving into top 3 we find former leader Specialized, "only" 295 points makes 2 teams move past them but they are still well placed here. Benelux the strongest score while they also got nice points in Andorra, just not enough to stay in 1st. Lotto-Caloi had a good June, and continues that into July with 530 points and a jump into 2nd place. 316 points from Lithuania the headline in what is for sure now a push for promotion!
That makes only 1 team left and we got the frenchies Ekoi - Le Creuset on top! 439 points this month and on top in both total and projected we might have a future PT team here, scary considering some of their talents... A strong Benelux main reason for their good month but this is a team that is able to score everywhere and every month and a deserved leader!
Top scorer for July is no big surprise with his HC win. Joao Almeida takes that title from racing only that race. This also takes him from 54th to 17th in the total rankings. 2nd best this month was Daniel Bonello with his great Benelux win! He rises all the way from 326th to 52nd!
Yuriy Vasyliv, Gage Hecht and Barnabas Peak follows suit with all over 200 points this month! With Peak being the rider who are highest in the individual ranking continuing his good season
A good month also for Takeaki Amezawa who moves from 135th into 41st by scoring 195 points split on 2 races, while Ivan Sosa goes from 51st to 23rd with 181 points. Mark Padun had a bust month fighting in France, but had time to score 177 points in Andorra to finish the month off. While Biniam Girmay took his chanses in Benelux to help the great month by Bralirwa and score 128 points
Last as the top 10 scorers this month is a split between Stefan Kung and Venantas Lasinis, both with 119 points.

Biggest change in top 10 is Mark Padun climbing from 22nd to 9th. He is also the only new face in top 10 with Alexey Lutsenko falling out of it.
Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz keeps his 10th position and while the top 10 is stable is is the only one, together with leader Neilson Powless who stays in the same position as last month. Tiesj Benoot falls from 6th to 8, Elie Gesbert from 5th to 7th, Matteo Jorgenson from 4th to 5th and Bryan Coquard from 2nd to 3rd.
On the other hand we have Biniam Girmay going from 7th to 6th, Barnabas Peak from 8th to 4th and Caleb Ewan from 3rd to 2nd as the risers in the top 10.
Outside of the top 10 we have some big risers already mentioned for the month of July in Joao Almeida, Yuriy Vasyliv and Ivan Sosa. Could one of them continue their climb into top 10 when we get to August?
Thanks for the update, Heine! I really like the backwards approach, it adds some extra thrill (but I might be a bit biased there ...).
It's been another good month for us and being on top of the rankings (for the first time ever) after seven months of racing is clearly really cool. But the gap to 6th is less than 270 points and even to 8th (which seems to be the more realistic cut-off for promotion at the moment) it's only 400 points. Our approach of scoring everywhere still works, but we also rely on the occasional big scoring race and with cobbles and the more special parcours like Benelux done this could get a problem. But for now I enjoy the moment
I need to pinch myself a couple of times. 2nd with this roster at this time of the year is crazy. We've been extremely lucky in a bunch of races. But we will definitely run out of luck sooner than later.
Now that we are so high up, we might as well aim for promotion

Thanks for the update. Not wondering much about us declining, software is completely flawed in many ways to hurt our team unfortunately. Jan Hirt does again and again not get recognized as team captain and therefore instead of a top 15 GC result in a stage mountain stage race places the same or even worse than the rest of my team. We get our points mainly from sprints, where the software does recognize sprint trains if you send 3-4 good flat riders and a leadout rider with your sprinter. But mountain stage races are completely flawed in the 2024 edition, this hurt us a lot in the last 2 months.
Not much to report from our perspective. Benelux was decent but could have been much better.
We're going down unless a miracle happens (or maybe several ).
