Rankings update 2
We started in Belgium with the Samyn Classic. Meeus easily won the sprint for the Hussars, but the Barnacles 2-3 finishes from Rex and Hofstetter gave them the point win here. The same thing happened in Laigueglia, where Buitrago won is for the Racoons but 2 and 3 were for the Hussars with Gregoire and Tiberi.
On to the main event where Superman returned with another impressive win. Tadej Pogacar won his 4th Strade Bianche, with "Baby Pogi" Seixas claiming second place to make it a 1-2 for the Inspectors. The Rhodes GP could not get any managers interested unfortunately.
For the Rankings, we have a new leader. The Hussars had a really good block with Gregoire, Meeus and Tiberi and get a 100 point gap to the Racoons, who relied on good results from Christen and Buitrago. Another 100 points to the Inspectors, who got up to 3rd after their stellar performance in Siena.
The Barnacles are in 4th for now, mostly because of a good Samyn. In 5th place we find the Chumps, who did select Gianni Vermeersch this time. Next up are the Hornets, where Jorgenson is still the main man for now.
In 7th are the Overlords, with once again one rider saing their block. Next are the Sliders who again scored medriocre. The Croissant gain a few spots, but still not what they are hoping for. The Rainbow Warriors are the last team in the top 10 after a very poor block.
While the Ice Tulips in 11th are still close to the others so far, the D really need to start scoring big soon to get away from the last spot.

I had 4 riders racing at all in block 2. 50 points is about 48 more than expected 
Matthews out, and outlook on Pedersen is bleak. Yay

With Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico underway, most managers hope they won't lose anymore injured riders (it's really a lot this year!). It also gives us a small break before the next block, the traditional races before Sanremo. At one point, these were all sprinter classics, but we have a hill finish in Torino now, while Nokere and especially Denain added more cobbles. I'm still expecting to see at least one mass sprint though.
Please get me your startlists by next week wednesday 18/03 at 10:00 CET.
