Betonexpressz GP
Üdvözöljük Magyarországon! It's time for the 2025 Betonexpressz GP. This is the 10th edition of this race on the shores of Lake Balaton, and on every occasion bar one the win has gone to the sprinters - will we see more of the same this time in the 'Concrete Express GP'?

This maybe should have found a spot on our calendar, but we thought sprinting for stages would be a better use of days this year. Either way, let's see how this goes and if the punchier sprinters can take a surprise victory

Having had the pleasure of cycling around Lake Balaton myself last year, I certainly envy the riders on this one
I think Bol should be the favourite given the undulating course and his much stronger energy stats, but I hope Perera can put up a fight and still challenge for a win or podium. Strong field but that was to be expected, he's performed well in strong fields all season so no reason to be too pessimistic. Good luck everyone and excited for the reports!

Not bad at all from Norbert there, as much as I hoped for.

What a double! Definitely another example of how getting a good leadout can be strong in this version. Big congrats to Zappes!
If the title race comes down to a few points, I think this will be a race that folks think about - Kraftwerk miss a great opportunity, and many more of us didn't even think to show up.

Extremely happy with Liepins unexpected 4th place here. That's 30 points we didn't calculate for. Superb!
Congrats Zappes for the 1-2 victory!

We've got points! That's more than I hoped.
Sad we weren't in the break or on the attack though.
Thanks for the report KB!

Would've preferred the win but not gonna complain about 3rd and 7th. Congrats to Cologne on the 1-2, don't have too many of those tiny beers to celebrate
