 Isle of Mann ITT
45.7km

The Isle of Mann has always been known for its time trialing, with a consistent presence since 2009. 2025 is no different, as the race returns to its original ITT format after two years hosting the C1 TTT. The first half of the race features some rolling terrain with a final 16km of flat.

With only 36 riders competing in the race around the Manx countryside, why bother with simply a favorites category when we can view the whole startlist!
Tough to share more of an analysis than the stats provide, but Sutterlin will surely be considered the top favorite.
Kraftwerk Man Machine would probably be considered the team favorite for this race if the category existed, although Euskadi-Murias and SEE Turtles would be close behind.
None of the contenders really have much strength over the hills, but O’Loughlin and Christodoulos both show relative strength over that terrain for the first section of the race that could be crucial.
Overall, this race is really between about 4 teams with just a few other favorites thrown in. We’ll see if having a strong teammate on the course will give Sutterlin, O’Loughlin, Christodoulos, or Cardona a benefit. Belevics, Thomas and Politt will be those trying to upset the major favorites.

Not sure about the flag being used, Cavendish would be very very angry...
This one's gonna be close, so many possible options here. Fingers crossed the bit more rounded Pirates can push there way into the mix

No worries, no such things will happen in the report as long as this stays the Man-Game (and sorry, there might be some more Man-related puns)
But seriously, thanks for the preview on such a short notice, sean! There has been a pretty familiar approach in it as well ...

definitely didn't also have to re-update after realizing Sutterlin got cut off during some editing... forgive the now highlighted use of the cobble stat which won't make a single difference
Anyway, we need one of our three to be on amazing form and come away with a top 5! Anything under 15 pprd here is a disappointment for the Turtles

I think I preferred the preview minus Sutterlin, was definitely funnier that way

C'mon Thomas! I know you are not the favorite, but I'd really like a good result

Not really sure why we're here. Hopefully Frison has some kinda shot at a top 10 here, he does have a tendency to overperform slightly. Otherwise I suppose good experience for Rogora on a TT bike.

I think we might only be here, because we needed races to fill our calendar. I'll take whatever...

Feel like we need to consider today a bit of a failure, given what our team is really known for. Still, some good points to strengthen our May total and end the month on a high. Many, many races where we would PRAY for a 7th place - so time to just use this as a positive heading into the second half of the year.
Nice to see overall things go as planned for the best.

We hoped for a podium here for Belevics and maybe even a win, so not too happy with 6th to be honest. Nothing to do with Sütterlin though. A great win by the german!
It has to be said though; what a phenomenal(!) TT-report by kandesbunzler, thanks a lot for the extensive report! |

Wow what a fantastic report kb, really enjoyed being able to see every rider.
Happy with 3rd, 12th & 13th - Christodoulos delivering a great result yet again.
Congrats to 2k for the win.

Rumors say some of Team Zappes Kölsch needed a few race days. Anyway, if you flip the Leaderboard around, we succeed phenomenally.
Thank you for the great report! |
