I like the additions of Riabushenko and Zhao, think they can work really well together. It looks like the PCT sprinting field is gonna be stacked, so hopefully they can shine through.

Love Eekhoff. Age, versatility, backups. Everything perfect for a domestique.

If only we had another cobble rider for him to be a domestique for.

I have to echo the other, good additions with Zhao and Riabushenko. I don't see a promotion candidate yet, but that was to be expected seeing the limited moves you made.
Best of luck!

@Laurens - mid-table is right I think, top 10 goals so would like to make that and improve a little on last year.

McCormick Pro Cycling completed their final offseason moves with the signing of two additional stagiares in Emry Faingezicht and David Anderson Palma and the loan signing of Darren Rafferty from Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo. Quinn Simmons and Fikri Azka Mohammad also left on loans to King Power and Indosat Ooredoo, respectively. Simmons becomes the fifth McCormick rider to complete his development at King Power while Mohammad gets to fulfill his dream of riding with his home team for at least one season.
Said team manager Ulrich Ulriksen, "We are thrilled to able to pick up riders of the quality of Emry and David, they are both very solid time-trial prospects who have a real chance at permanent contracts next year. And David continues our commitment to young American riders."
Ulriksen added, "The chance take Darren on loan and receive the Mangame UCI's mandated extortion fee, I mean loan fee, was too good a chance to pass up." We look forward to helping Darren get started on his pro career."
Ulriksen also also commented on the teams offseason training camp, "nobody looked vulnerable out there, and particularly Ivan and Nils really looked ready for the season."

Second the others, it seems like you're in for a solid mid-table season, but with the chance of some really nice performances especially from Sosa. And if Eekhoff turns out to be too frustrated by having to lead in the cobbles we'll happily take him next transfers, at least there should be a leader for him

Great to see that Sosa's development continues. Good luck for the season! |

Will be interesting to see how you split up Sosa and Yates. But really like your depth as well. Both guys will be well supported.

There was a point this transfer season where I thought you were going to be able to secure Zhao on about a 60,000 wage and I'm crushed (for you) that you ended up having to pay what you did for him although it is absolutely the right call. Really glad Anderson David Palma ended up with a contract too!
A team I admire, no matter how you do and hope that the season lines up as you plan!

The mid-table folks seems very accurate - my projections have us in 10th, which feels like the definition of mid-table - although I guess that is technically a little above. Will share those when the time comes.
@KB - Eekhoff seems to be well supplied with people willing to help him out if the burden of leadership is too much.
@bikex - probably the last money we spend on him so time for him to start proving he merits the investment.
@MRE - the wonder of PCT calendar flexibility work in our favor.
@sean - yes that did look good for a while, still pretty pleased with 110k compared to the cost of other sprinters and hopefully his AC and PRL make that a really good return.

Think the team is definitely more well rounded than last season, even after Yates' decline. Really liked the choice of the two sprinters picked up from FA, and they should do quite well in PCT. Looking forward to an improvement in the standings as well

Solid team. Top 10 should be doable - maybe even a push for promotion with a bit of luck.

I wasn't sure about the addition of Eekhoff, but he could score pretty well in C2 cobbled races and if that's the case then it makes a lot more sense.

McCormick buying a cobbler probably just seemed wrong to you.
