Looking at those availabilities I'm very interested to see what you add to Kasperkiewicz, a promotion push this season I'm guessing?
A few ways to go about this season for sure. Could be an all out push season, could be another season to lay the foundation to push next year. The first few days of transfers will for sure dictate which way I will be going down once the dust has settled a little bit!

After a hectic start to the transfer window for us with multiple plans falling apart we have finally managed to land a solid amount of incomings who will serve various purposes.
Ronnilan Quita: In many ways the natural successor to Meurisse, who we were very close to signing for the min fee. The Philipino Puncheur has shown the same highroll potential that we knew and loved Meurisse for recently podiumming Lombardia to close out last year. We look forward to three incredible years with him. He joins us from our good friends over at King Power for a fee of 600k.
Danny Van Poppel:Not the ideal pick up for us in terms of age profile, but after a solid stint over at Rabobank, we're ready to take him on one final maxed ride in the PCT where he have the chance to make history in what is turning out to be one of the most competitive sprinting fields the division has ever seen. Being our most pricey signing of the season with a whopping 660k fee, we hope that he will provide some great sprints for the year!
Kevin Inkelaar: Kevin is an interesting prospect joining us from Polar, where he has had the honour of working with some of the greatest climbers of the last few years. We're hoping that with freeer reigns more results will come. The fee of 500k was deemed simply too good to turn down by management and we were very happy to pay it! At just 28 years old we're looking forward to having a solid engine climber on our books for quite a few years to come!
Dylan Kennett: Another truly fantastic bargain that we were able to snatch up was Dylan Kennett. The strong track sprinter has a very interesting profile that we're looking forward to trying to maximise with a solid amount of Prologues on the C1 and HC calendar this year he will be teaching Milan his ways.
Riley Pickrell: A Canadian cobbles prospect that joins in a straight trade for former stagiare Edoardo Sandri, there's a chance he won't get to max this year if we can't find a loan out option for him but anyways we're overjoyed to have him as a part of the setup!
Maurice Ballerstedt & Marco Brenner: The German duo joins us on loan from Puma - SAP, we're happy that we're once again being trusted with the development of some of the best riders around!
Lukas Sulaj Kloppenborg: The Albanian finally joins us after being a big priority in last year's transfer window where we were sadly priced out by Llapi - Vita. Even though he has lost one year of being maxed out he will become one of the best attackers in the game for quite a while!
Matisse Julien: Final Canadian addition for now. Matisse is a solid future leadout guy that we're happy to give a ride in the pro peloton for the minimum 50k fee, as we continue to add to our Canadian contingency! | Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | XP | Age | Wage | | Ronnilan Quita | 74 | 74 | 77 | 66 | 75 | 75 | 73 | 60 | 71 | 74 | 83 | 72 | 66 | 76,8 | 4.100 | 30 | 180.000 | | Danny Van Poppel | 72 | 60 | 64 | 67 | 74 | 71 | 78 | 64 | 81 | 78 | 56 | 69 | 72 | 76,28 | 4.100 | 32 | 140.000 | | Kevin Inkelaar | 64 | 80 | 70 | 64 | 75 | 76 | 79 | 56 | 60 | 74 | 69 | 69 | 64 | 76,24 | 4.100 | 28 | 140.000 | | Dylan Kennett | 75 | 58 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 76 | 78 | 62 | 79 | 78 | 67 | 68 | 78 | 75,97 | 4.100 | 31 | 180.000 | | Riley Pickrell | 73 | 65 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 74 | 69 | 72 | 63 | 67 | 69 | 69 | 64 | 72,15 | 4.3 | 24 | 50.000 | | Maurice Ballerstedt | 69 | 60 | 64 | 65 | 67 | 71 | 66 | 72 | 64 | 64 | 72 | 70 | 64 | 70,05 | 3.36 | 24 | LOAN | | Marco Brenner | 66 | 69 | 68 | 67 | 68 | 68 | 67 | 51 | 66 | 68 | 69 | 72 | 68 | 69,42 | 1.0 | 23 | LOAN | | Lukas Sulaj Kloppenborg | 69 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 72 | 73 | 65 | 67 | 63 | 73 | 73 | 70 | 62 | 69,23 | 2.0 | 24 | 50.000 | | Matisse Julien | 69 | 56 | 67 | 62 | 66 | 69 | 66 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 68 | 71 | 69 | 67,91 | 1.0 | 22 | 50.000 |

Definately some interesting names in the pool of new riders. Also very nice to see you signing a couple of solid long term canadians

I like Quita and Kennett, but I'm guessing the promotion push will postponed until the following the season?

@SotD: We're for sure trying to put more emphasis on building the Canadian groundwork. Matisse, Pickrell and La Grenade are solid doms to support future leaders!
@rod: For sure not where we expected this offseason to go. We also had two seperate swap deals fall through that would have been more akin to a push for promotion. But we're also optimistic about what we can achieve with proper planning and some luck.

Very curious to see how Inkelaar does with free reign on his own. Could see him going very well in some races, if likely boom or bust.

@bbl: Very curious as well, he will most likely be double teaming with Barguil quite a lot this year but I am also super excited to see what he can do. At his price tag it's not the end of the world if he doesn't set the world on fire.
@jandal: I also really love the Kennett pickup, there's a solid amount of prologue races on our calendar this year where he can take advantage of his skillset together with Milan!

The 2025 transfer season has concluded and for the first time in a while we don't have any stagiares to add to our squad numbers. We finished out with two final additions in Jakob Soderqvist who joins us on loan from Los Pollos Hermanos and Alexander Sulimov who joins on a whopping 195,000 wage in Free Agency. The Russian is expected to be the final support piece behind Kaspa for the year keeping the race tough before the Pole will try to fire off his own attacks.

I would've loved to see a quality talent added to this group, but I guess it wasn't possible. I'm looking forward to seeing how high Quita can reach in PCT.

I clearly don't like to have to face the best cobbles squad of the division regularly! I'm curious to see what van Poppel, Inkelaar and a declining Barguil are able to add points-wise.

Quita is the perfect replacement for the loss, and you have definately strenghtened your setup compared to last season I think. Even if you think this will be another midseason I could see you promote!

Sulimov was definitely expensive, but comparing his price to Ponomar's, I can see the rationale for continuing with him as the option late on in FA. His skillset seems to complement Kaspa's perfectly, so that's just a horrible thought for the manager of Stallaert, huffing and puffing while 2 beasts just launch attack after attack on the cobbles. Can't see this going well for us

@rod: I would have too! But by the time in transfers that I had an idea about what my cap situation looked like most talents were gone. We tried to get into the Poole/Pellizari race but they got way too expensive way too quickly which led to Sulimov getting the bag instead!
@kb: what can I say I have a type and it's bumpy and unstable!
SotD: I have adored Quita for years and he's just the natural successor to Meurisse so will enjoy the next three years with him under our banner!
@Booker: As stated in the reply to rod the Sulimov fund came from failed talent bids but it's for sure not a bad way to secure some more points and provide a lot of help to Kaspa when the going gets tough!

Except for Battistella's wage, this squad is almost as perfect as possible for a PCT squad. You've got everything it takes to shoot for the stars imo.

@C14: When two of the greatest managers to touch MG in you and SotD says that this team is actually well built I am feeling more and more inclined to agree, hopefully I can plan my way into a promotion that would be quite nice. Batti's wage has been a touchy subject for me two years in a row but I simply love him too much to risk him going into FA. Hopefully next year he will take a bit of a cut to a more reasonable wage!

I have way less authority than SotD and Croatia but I can't see how you aren't at least on the edge of the promotion race. Need to get to PT so you can tank in order to sign Leonard

Some really good additions with Quita, Inkelaar en DVP. I also have you on my list as top-5 candidate. Should be a fun season, good luck!
